This book is amazing for anyone in need of prep for the PRAXIS II. Details, practice tests, etc. The only thing you need to know is that this is not from the company that actually makes the tests so the formats of the questions are a lot different.

This study guide was outstanding. It was very clearly written with good, logical test taking tips and interesting, informative chapters for each section the test covers. Finally the answer explanations were exemplary and are absolutely worth reading, whether or not one gets the question right or wrong.

The study guide was helpful in its consolation of historical events into bite sized chunks. I also thought the spiral effect of concepts was helpful.

It is a great study guide. It summarizes all the parts that are on the test. After each part they have really helpful questions and after that you could review your answers and they explain why the answer was correct or incorrect. I love it and highly recommend it.

Really good synopsis of the subject material. Take other practice test out on the web to see which areas you need to further study. You could use this book alone and achieve a passing score I believe, but I supplemented with an online resource from the web.

It was a good overview of social studies topics. It was a nice refresher since I have not been in college in some time. I believe this guide will assist me in getting the score needed on my Praxis test.

Pretty decent for reviewing... There are probably better study books out there. The practice tests were split up into sections instead of a cumulative test. I wish there was a cumulative test at the end for more practice. I passed my test, which is what matters.

I love the guide. It provides very in depth information about topics covered on the test. I would highly recommend it to anyone preparing for this test.
