JUST GOT THIS THE OTHER DAY AND SO FAR SO GOOD, THE PROGRAM DISC THAT CAME WITH IT, IT,S A PIECE OF JUNK IT WAS MEDIA SUITE 10 THEN I PUT IT ON AND RESTARTED MY PC I LOST ALL MY DRIVERS SO I HAD NO WAY OF PLAYING A MOVIE DISC TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WORKS, SO I HAD TO UNINSTALL IT AND GO THE THE CYBERLINK WEB SITE AND DOWN LOAD THE NEWER VERSION AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE WENT TO THE PIONEER SITE AND DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE FIRMWARE. I HAVEN,T TRIED TO DO A 4K DISC YET. WILL GET BACK TO JUST LEARNING HOW TO OPERATE THE DRIVES AND PROGRAMS 1ST.

The UPTab DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0a HDR Active Adapter Rev.B, is to enable HDR support.

This Blu Ray, (This product is a bundle.), as stated on the instructions was delivered to me 15 minutes ago. Having 40 years of manufacturing and engineering procedures/quality experience, I can tell that is not used. I checked it under different lighting angles. 1. The box was not inside another protective box. 2. Screws and SATA Cables were not included 3. Software was included. Long story short: It passed my QA tests without me having my usual tools that can do even further inspection with more accurate results. All I cared was: To be brand new and not used. I might update my review if I find out that it doesn’t work properly too. Thank you I give it 5 out of 5 for now, because I do have screws, power cable and SATA cable from other purchases.

Do NOT buy this bundle and expect to be able to play UHD BluRay discs. I got this specifically for that purpose in a new HTPC/Gaming Rig build. The first UHD disc I put in said it couldn't be played because of my GPU wasn't able to do it. I have an MSI Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard and Intel i7 7700k Kaby Lake CPU, MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X GPU, pretty much top of the line stuff capable of easily handling 4K and supports both HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2. Decided to go ahead and upgrade the software to the latest level. Now it tells me my media is corrupt and still won't play UHD. Go for the lower cost of the drive alone and DO NOT BUY CYBERLINK SOFTWARE! Find your own software. I have no issues with the drive itself. The discs are recognized and the movie names show up. The software doesn't work as advertised. If you go to the Pioneer website the description states that this drive will play UHD Discs with the bundled CYBERLINK software. All of my 4k discs I bought here on Amazon and play perfectly fine on my Xbox One S. The issue is that the software does not work as advertised. This review and 1 star is for this bundle only. The drive is as advertised as best as I can see. The software is the issue.

This doesn't come with any media support, but I did get Cyberlink with my motherboard. When you try to play 4K discs, you are told that it isn't supported at this time. Otherwise, the drive works fine with Blu-Ray discs.

Very nice device, I bought it recently to do 4k film burning, and I was surprised, his writing speed is very fast. Then, I also use it to watch Blu-ray movies on my computer, and I find that the quality of the player is better than the one I have on my TV. The installation is done without problem on my pc (running with windows 10). The program provided with the player is also very nice, I used to use windows media player, but now I use Media Suite 10 completely, which I find is faster and allows me to access the contents more easily. Very happy with my purchase.

I get random read errors from this unit. some discs wont read at all but i put them in another drive, in the same computer, and they read just fine.

Feed your 4K UHD blu-ray dvds to this and view on a 4K UHD tv with HDR-PRO for vibrant colors,deep blacks and 2180p resolution.I recommend getting this kit,because it has everything you need,even though there is a BDR-211UBK for a cheaper price because it does not come with any software unless you already purchased the Cyberlink media suite 10 4K UHD disc prior to getting this drive.

Diesen teuren Plyer gekauft und nach viel Zeit erfahren, dass er, will man 4K ansehen, dies ja nur mit den Prozessoren ab der achten Generation nutzbar ist. Aber ab der achten Generation ist nur Windows 10 voll kompatibel. Unter Windows 7 läuft gar nichts. Diese Einschränkung sollte zwingend bei der Produktinformation stehen. Ich habe diesen Plyer zurückgeben müssen, weil ich nicht auf das Microsoft Mediacenter, das nicht in WIN 10 läuft, verzichten will.

I bought this so I can play 4K Blu-ray movies. but it only plays Blu-rays. I installed the disk and installed power DVD 14. but it says I have run processor when I have a good Intel processor. and said I didn't have a fast enough graphics card but I have a GTX 1080. so I upgraded the player so I could use it to power DVD 18. and it still didn't work. to prove what I'm saying I took some screenshots of my monitors so you can see it for yourself. the big monitor is my 4K monitor and the two smaller ones are my 1080p monitors. I took two screenshots of two different layers that you would understand. I bought this for £210. that is a lot of money for me am I supposed for a lot of other people just for a Blu-ray writer Drive what can play 4K movies. whoever is reading this please do not buy this drive. I know your coffee like me and really want to watch ultra 4k movies. but the thing is this drive with just won't do it.

Die Hürden eine 4K-BD am Rechner wiederzugeben sind hoch! Dieses Bundle verspricht das zu können, kann es aber nicht halten! Obwohl bei meinem Sytem alle Voraussetzungenerfüllt sind: - Intel-Prozessor besser als KABY-Lake - 4K-Monitor - Motherboard mit Chipsatz und Treiber für Intel Management Engine - Monitor an der CPU-internen Grafik angeschlossen usw. Der Support von Cyberlink hat auch nur Telefonkosten erzeugt, denn sie sind nicht in der Lage einen Account zu erstellen, ohne den kein Datenaustausch möglich ist. Ich sage nur Finger weg! Das ist Zeit- und Geldverschwendung!
