Value for the money, work perfectly and shred the paper without no problems a little bit noisy but it’s OK

Happy so far with this shredder. Quieter than the shredder it is replacing. Half the price of anything at any store near me. Quality of construction seems fine, although the on/off/auto forward/reverse switch doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in lasting for long, it seems cheaply made. This is rated for 10 sheets of paper, but in testing it out the past two weeks, it definitely starts to bog down at 4 sheets and seems to really be struggling at 6 sheets going through at once. For longevity I plan to use 3 sheets at once as my “sweet spot” for shredding. Have not had the machine shut off from overheating yet. I’ve been shredding for an hour at a time feeding three sheets at a time casually, not continuously. That is to say I feed in a three sheet layer and after that feeds through I gather up another 3 sheets layer and then feed that in. So the shredder does not run continuously, it has moments of idleness. Seems to be performing fine in this manner. Time will tell how long this unit will last. I am happy with it and will kind of “baby” it as I use it, not overtaxing it. I Don’t believe this unit would last very long using 6 sheets or more at a time. I feel the 10 sheet claim over optimistic. As I said, happy enough and satisfied with this unit for my light home usage. I give it 4 stars.

This shredder is awesome! I have used it so much since getting it. Easy to work. Not overly loud. Does not over heat. how did I ever live without it!!?? I have used it for maybe 3-4 pages at a time. It just works faster. Very easy to dump the shredded paper.

Unlike one of the other reviews, the shredder I received starts when paper is entered and stops when it has been shredded. 10 pages may be too many. 6 works fine. I have shredded 10 with a paperclip, but would not buy this one if you need this most of the time. It is not a commercial or office shredder, yet it works fine for my home office work. I get much more than 4 minutes before an overheat or stall. I have been using it very heavy for the last couple of days to clear up some files.

Ordered 10/11/25, delivered 10/12/25, first use 10/13/25. 88 days in of regular every other day use, nothing heavy duty and the sensor gives out. You can make it reverse, hell - you can even turn it on and it will spin, but don't expect it to "read" that you are trying to feed paper into the machine. 30 day money back guarantee if there is a problem. Beyond that deadline you will have to pay a 20% restocking fee even if you can get refund and no refund after 60 days. If you want to waste time on fighting for a replacement after 60 days you can video your shredder not working and send it to them and *if* they determine something is wrong they *may* replace it for you. My much smaller desktop shredder from office supply store lasted me nearly 20 years. This obnoxiously loud behemoth was a poor replacement but I can't seem to find a small shredder worth any quality to match what I had before. It is highly suspect that the sensor for this shredder gives out after only a few months of use. I should have listened to the other negative reviews I read but the positive reviews far outweighed them by a large margin. Lesson learned. This shredder is absolute garbage.
