The stock ear pads on my Virtuosos had been slowly deteriorating for a while now, they tore apart at the seams inside the cup which is apparently pretty common. After getting fed up with them getting worse, I came across these and decided to grab a set. A quick comparison between these and the stock pads and you can just see how much better these are. Padding was much thicker, the materials were clearly better and they just felt more solidly built. Installing them was quick and easy. Between the memory foam and the cooling gel these are super comfortable - night and day difference from the stock cups.

WC are always recommended by YouTube content creators. Grabbed a pair because my Virtuoso XT seemed to not have enough clamp force. So I thought, maybe a thicker pad will help, along with it being more comfortable and cooler to prevent my ears from over sweating. Easy install and quality is great. Because the cushions are so much thicker, the headphones seem to be less loud, and some detail is lost. However, adjusting my EQ settings in Dolby (via PC) helped a lot!

***update. I was contacted via Amazon by the company and they suggested maybe my set was defective and offered to send me a new pair. I have used the new pair for a while now and I will say they are noticably cooler when you initially put them on your head. This pair also really does keep my ear area from getting super hot now so I guess they are working as intended. Updating to 5 stars*** I wear my headset 10ish hours a day minimum. I work from home, do school, and game all on my PC using my headset. I noticed 0 cooling compared to stock Corsair virtuoso XT ear cups. These pads are thicker length wise than stock. Thicker means my headset fits tighter on my head and is not as comfortable due to the increased pressure against my head. These also allow a lot more noise to pass through, not sure if it's the material or that the drivers are further away from your ears due to the thickness. Build quality is great, no seams coming apart and was a direct fit replacement. If you are buying these for the "cooling" don't get your hopes up. If you are tired of the black flakes all over you from the virtuoso stock ear pads these are an ok replacement.

Great ear pads! Stay cool and truthfully, I love everything about them except that I'm buying a second pair now in March 2025 after buying them initially in November 2024. They're coming apart at the seams and the foam inside is visible from the side of my headset. They still work perfectly, and I don't NEED to replace them. They work just fine, but I want another pair in case the rip worsens. Hoping it was a bad pair or maybe user error and not just a short lifespan product :(

Excellent ear pad replacements, feel great. Have been happy with using these for long periods 6+ hours a day DO NOTE - they are a little thicker than the original pads and have noticed a bit more ambient sound seeping in due to my fat head. If you have a larger head ( earphones extended to max length ) and it feels a bit tight with the original pads, this may feel a bit tighter. FYI would not recommend the white cups on black headset, that choice was terrible.
