Vortex Optics Diamondback HD 2000 Laser Rangefinder

The image clarity was impressive for this class of binoculars. I was consistently able to confirm target hits out to 100 yards, with sufficient resolution to distinguish impacts without difficulty.Durability was also put to an unintended test. I accidentally dropped the binoculars twice during use, yet they showed no functional or optical issues afterward. The housing and armour held up very well, reinforcing confidence in their build quality for field or range use.Overall, the Diamondback HD delivers clear, reliable performance in a tough package, making it a practical and dependable option for shooters and outdoor users who want quality optics without stepping into premium price territory.

This thing is the cat's a$$. Price was pretty good, and quality is excellent. It is easy to read the info through the viewpiece, and the magnification makes it a LOT easier to get on and hold on objects even out to long distances. I've used it out to 1800 on a known distance and it agreed, and it does return value out to 2000. I don't know if it is truly drop-proof, but it has been dropped (a lot) and I haven't had any issues. If you go on a hunt of a lifetime, you REALLY need your gear to be reliable and this was. Durable, easy and quick, lightweight, and it is still on the original battery.

Very fast and accurate. Also, I appreciate the illuminated reticle, which makes low light range finding easy. I also like the belt pouch/carry case included with it. Worth every penny.

As with all vortex products this one is no different. Easy to use and very durable. The menu is easily accessible and adjustments are quick. Size seems perfect and it comes in its own little pouch with a retention bungee that you can clip on whatever. I haven’t had any battery issues but I always bring extras since you never know. But I haven’t had any issues with battery life as of yet. Very pleased.

Just got it 3 days ago. Upon inspection. I notice there's a lot of messy splatter of something on the plastic bezzel. I try to see if it'll come off with rubbing alcohol, but nope! It's on there permanently. So I'm gonna give this a 4 star for a poor over sight of quality.

I have tried several range finders and I find this one to be very accurate and does not jump around when placed on a small target.

If it doesn't, then there's the no-question-asked warranty, but I suspect I won't be needing it!
