Good quality essential oil.
This is a pure Labnanum Essential Oil that comes in a 15ml amber bottle sealed with a stopper upon arrival. The cap is not childproof though. Labdanum or also known as cistus or rock rose, the name is originated from the Greek words referring to the dark resin that is produced by the plant. This oil is quite thick, has a golden-yellow color, and has a sweet, herbaceous scent. It’s not stated on the product page the benefits of this oil. But labdanum is known for its therapeutic properties such as anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antiseptic, etc., and use mostly to heal wounds, treat skin problems such as eczema, and also good to reduce the signs of aging such as wrinkles, and also can be used to aid in meditation. Please bear in mind, that any pure essential oils have to be diluted with carrier oils before applying directly onto the skin. Using them 'neat' on the skin can cause severe skin sensitivity. For the current price of £12.48 for a 15ml bottle, I think it’s quite expensive but Greenwood Essential is known for producing high quality and pure oil, therefore, I don’t mind paying for that price. And having a GC/MS batch number and a PKD date (packaging date?) on the box, it’s showing that this company takes quality control seriously. The one that I received has a PKD of 12/2020 and it has a 36-month shelf life. Thank you for reading. Hope you have found it helpful.

Nice scent
I really wanted this product for its medicinal properties in treating bronchitis and lung infections, water retention and painfully menstrual problems. It appears to be working, but I need to see this on a longer-term especially the lung infections as my parents have some problems here and the effect is going to be shown on a longer period of time. Highly recommend it to boost the immune system as well.

Oil calms the nervous system well.
Oil 15 ml, viscous liquid. Oil in a dark glass bottle. The scent of the oil is intensely sweet with a herbal balsamic aroma. The oil has a good therapeutic effect in calming the nervous system. The oil helps you fall asleep after a hard, stressful day.

Labdanum or rock rose, is one of those essential oils I can never get enough of! This particular brand is a good quality viscous oil that comes with a pipette, but it will need heating to thin it. I tend not to use the microwave for this, it can be tricky. Instead I put the bottle in hot water and wait a while. This took about a minute. The oil, as I said, is thick and sticky, a little goes a long way, happily! The smell is resinous (as it is derived from the same) somewhat smokey and woody and reminds me of sandalwood. It is therapeutic, calming the nerves, especially after shock, warming the skin, and aiding fatigue. I rub a drop or two on the soles of my feet if I'm overtired, or in a burner if I am feeling yuk. The price is good for the quality, I really like this!

Nice clean scent
This is a nice, clean smelling essential oil which suggests that it is a high quality product. The liquid is fairly viscous so does take a few moments to drip out of the (supplied) dripper cap however that is not unusual for essentials oils. Labdanum is a great substitute for ambergis since it is derived from plants rather than animal products. Highly recommended

Nice oil, a bit thick, needs warming up
This oil is thicker to what I normally use. I popped mine on the radiator for a minute, or in a bowl full of warm water. As with all Greenwood’s oils I use them for different reasons. It is best to read up on this oil so you can use to the best advantage. Lots of medical uses, that’s why it’s so important to check, as may go against GPs advice. I mix my oils together and put carrier moisturiser in to make the oils go further. Nice in my diffuser, wards off impurities and mixing the oils makes a different scent as some do not have any. I like adding to my conditioner, paying particular attention to the ends of the hair. I also add several oils and emollient in my bath, tiny spot lights, nice relaxing music then relax for 30 minutes. Very happy with this product Thank you to the seller ** I hope my review helped in your decision, kind regards**

Labdanum Oil
Labdanum is one of the oldest known ingredients that’s used in perfumes, it’s usually combined with other fragrances and can be found is some of the most expensive perfumes! As an essential oil it’s used for quite a range of conditions including heating on an oil burner for relief of respiratory symptoms. The fragrance is known to clear nasal congestion and help if you’ve got a cough or cold. This is a 15ml bottle which comes with a plastic dropper. A little goes a long way!

Great stuff!
Another wonderful oil from Greenwood – absolutely my go-to supplier for essential oils, they are far and away the best provider of oils I’ve found. This particular oil, labdanum, has a lovely woody aroma, is fairly thick and comes with a dropper. Warming the bottle before use helps to reduce the viscosity of the oil. Others have said that it’s too thick for a diffuser, but I’ve not found that to be the case – it worked fine in my diffuser, as well as when heated in a burner. I’ve not tried it for massage, but I don’t doubt that well diluted in a carrier oil, it would work well. Overall, I’m very happy with this oil – it’s not the cheapest but not overly expensive, and the quality is far better than cheap oils.

Very nice fragrance, it's hard to describe unless you have smelled it. It's musky and earthy and different. I like to use it in my oil blends. A few nice combos are with lemon, patchouli, vetevir, frsnkensense... It's a base note that is long lasting. I read that it is used in place of the traditional ' musk's that comes from whales. It is quite thick and unruly ( lol) I end up just pouring a little out and not use the dropper. It flows more like honey than 'oil'.
