Exactly what we needed for a great price
We got this low loft bed for our 6 and 4 year olds. Originally, they wanted a bunk bed, but I wasn’t comfortable with how high the top bunk usually is, especially since my oldest is an active sleeper and also the type to jump off everything. This low loft gives them the feel of bunk beds without that same risk. I also specifically wanted enough clearance underneath so my 4 year old wouldn’t feel like he was crawling into a submarine bunk. We’re using a twin mattress on the floor underneath (since this is technically a loft, not a bunk) and it works perfectly. For reference, the bottom mattress is 10.5" thick and still has about 27.5" of headroom before the top bars. The top mattress is 7" thick and leaves about 3" of railing, which felt a little low for us so we added an old toddler bed rail for an extra ~4" of safety while our oldest adjusts. We chose a metal frame after seeing too many reviews of wooden beds that cracked during assembly, and I’m glad we did. It feels sturdy enough for their ages, and the price point made it an easy choice since we will eventually separate them into their own beds and repurpose the space below into a storage or play area. My husband was able to easily assemble this himself and he used screw lock so we won’t have to keep retightening anything. No squeaking so far. It does have a slight wobble, but nothing concerning -- we don’t feel like it’s unstable or at risk of tipping. A couple things to note: - The ladder can only be installed in one position, so plan your room layout carefully. In our case, my son has to climb in from the head of the bed instead of the foot. - I saw reviews mentioning the ladder rungs hurting feet. My son says they’re fine, but as an adult, I agree they’re painful. We considered adding pool noodles, but they spun around and didn’t feel safe for a kid still learning to climb. - We did add a pool noodle to the bar above the lower bed to prevent head bumps when getting up at night and I definitely recommend that! - I’m 5’4” and can easily lean in to say goodnight without climbing. We might be adding something under the bottom mattress (like a thin piece of plywood) to lift it off the floor a bit, but it’s not strictly necessary. Overall, this has been a great, budget-friendly option that feels much safer as far as height goes than a traditional bunk bed while still giving the kids the fun they wanted. I also want to just add that my boys sleep very hot and don't like blankets, since in the photo the beds look incomplete. I strive to give honest, unbiased and helpful reviews -- I hope this information was useful!

Sturdy and well worth the price
My husband built this in about an hour or so. It is sturdy and I was skeptical about that so I’m really pleased. It is short enough I can see our son to check on him and it’ll be easier to change the bedding on. It seems stable and wasn’t difficult to build. Overall I recommend this loft bed! Great for younger kids but is fine for older if they don’t mind it being short.

Kids love this bed so far
May be a little early for this review but if anything changes I can come back and edit. This is the very first bed I have gotten for my son, who is 5. He has had to share a bed with me (mom) out of necessity/lack of room, but now that he is older, I really wanted him to have his own bed. I'm a single mom and have 3 kids, and we live in a small 2 bedroom apartment. So I liked that this bed saved space and seemed "fun" like he would want to play in it. It was also reasonably priced at $120 (for the blue color). I also live in a small town and there is virtually no selection for furniture here so I would have to order online. Nowhere shipped furniture here without a huge shipping cost, except Amazon. I was stunned when I discovered I could order this bed and have it shipped free!!! I'd never ordered something large like this from Amazon but there were so many good reviews I decided to give it a shot. So far, I'm glad. It's only been a few days but things are well. The bed arrived in just a few days and was pretty easy to put together. My kids were ecstatic about this bed (two 10 year olds plus my son.) They all helped put it together and afterward it was like instant playtime. They made a fort out of the bottom and hung blankets like curtains. They have spent hours playing in there (normally they set up chairs to make forts with blankets, which is a pain to put away when they are done.) I love how they can just leave this "fort" all the time! And easily move toys in and out for new play ideas. As for the sleeping part, I got a Modway Aveline memory foam mattress, also from Amazon. So far my kids love it. In fact they have all been trying to get on the bed and saying they want one, trying to steal it from my son! I don't like them all being up there though because the bed does seem a bit wobbly. I don't think it is going to fall apart but it does wobble a bit (my son weighs about 50 lbs, I weigh about 115 and we sat on it together and it does wobble some, which would be distracting to me as an adult, but seems ok for the kids.) That is the only real reason for less stars on this review. BUT, given that it is made of small metal strips, I didn't expect it to be solid as a rock. Also like others mentioned there is a HUGE ugly warning sticker on the top rail, which is annoying but can be lived with/covered with a pillow. Others said the ladder hurt their feet, for me it was uncomfortable, but my kids go up and down, up and down, and don't care, haven't mentioned it once. It's also not super tall, I am 5'4 and can hug/kiss him goodnight when he is in bed, so it is not so tall to be scary (like some bunk beds). Overall, I like this bed because it saves major space and my kids think it's great. They are happy, so I am happy. Also it felt good to give my son something of his own that didn't completely break the bank. I think he will be happy with this for a long time, so long as it holds up.

Great low loft for toddlers!
Great low loft bed for my 3 year old. Took about an hour to put together, very sturdy if you follow the weight restrictions. I do not sleep on the bed with him, but do climb up there to make the bed or change the sheets. We ended up purchasing a three step step-stool for him to get into the bed instead of using the ladder. He could use the ladder but I felt more comfortable with the step-stool. However, if you have a more coordinated toddler the ladder may work great for you! The height is perfect for him to play under it but still low enough that it's age appropriate. Overall, I would definitely recommend it and would purchase again.

Great buy
Had for over a month now. Absolutely LOVE it for my 5 yr old. Wanted something to help free up some space in her room for toy area and this worked perfect. She can play and have toys under. Bed is short enough I didnt have to worry about a high fall. Bed was very simple and straight forward to put together. My husband had it done in less than 2 hrs, did it by himself other than needing help holding something every now and then. The bed does make creaking noises when moving around but nothing excessive. My kid loves it and im happy with the quality and price!

Very low loft, very sturdy
Love it, very sturdy. Put it together myself in under 2 hours. Opening the box was the hard part, it weighs an extremely heavy 65 pounds and is glued shut and the cardboard is so thick, taking everything out of the box took almost an hour. But after that, life was good. The loft part is very low so it's great for a child to sit under and great for me as a parent that I don't have to climb up to the bed to reach my child like you would with a bunk bed. UPDATE:i've taken this thing apart 2 more times, and it is still sturdy, it has been in three different rooms at this point. the first time, we used it as a bunk bed, with another twin underneath. it gives you enough room to sleep but very claustrophobic but my kid didn't have a problem with that. the second time, we put a tv and gaming setup under it, with a privacy pop tent on top-it fit perfectly. the third time, we use the lower area for storing clothes, toys and a table for playing games on and reading or lounging with a tablet which is nice instead of having to climb all the way to the bed during the day. this product is best for small children, because it is so low to the ground. adults can sit underneath (but, why would you want to, lol) the top is sturdy too...just make sure you tighten AFTER you assemble, so you don't strip the connectors. once it is put together, the kids are bouncing and hanging from it which made me nervous but now i trust that it won't fall apart so i got over it.

Affordable, cute and functional, but be sure to go over some safety tips with the kiddos.
I wanted a bed for my son that could help me utilize the space in our room better, since right now his room is under construction. I went with this particular bed, because it was the most affordable loft bed with good reviews. What I like: - Affordable - Height is perfect for his 5’2” momma to kiss him goodnight without having to climb up there. - There’s enough space underneath for a desk, in the future when he gets his own room set up. - I’ve slept on it with my son, and it’s very comfortable and supportive. I had no issues knocking out for some rest. (We have a memory foam mattress paired with it Incase you are wondering.) -it’s quiet. A lot of beds like this have reviews that they can be very squeaky or shakey. We are on carpet and it seems to be fine. Things I’m Neutral About: -Set up took a while, but as is expected with many mailed beds of this nature. What I didn’t like: - The only reason I wouldn’t give this the full five stars is, is because within moments of using it my son hit his head on the head of the bed, from just laying down. Granted, he underestimated the amount of space he had to just lay back like that. But the metal to skull sound killed it for me >.< - The ladder is super painful for adults. My son does ask me to go up to read him a story once in a while and I’m a twenty something year old mom so no biggie, I’m still fairly flexible and able (right?). Lord have mercy, the ladder is KILLER on the soles of my feet. It’s SO painful. My son hasn’t complained about it, but he also weighs like 30 pounds. - If you put a bed underneath it, prepare to have some bumps and scratches. As I mentioned, we are sharing a room at the moment and short on space, so we moved my full underneath this twin. I sleep with my legs under the loft bed. I’ve banged my head, mostly upon waking up, hit my arm and scraped my knees with these little grey support pieces underneath the bed. They’re a tad too sharp for my taste. These issues can be resolved with some safety 101 with the kiddo, along with padding, zip ties, and some pool noodles (or at least that’s what I’ve read in the reviews of beds like this). But still, it would be nice if the comfort and safety was as thought out as the function and aesthetic. Perhaps flat ladder steps versus the rods? And some padding at the head of the bed? Some pieces that are a bit less sharp and more dull underneath the bed? As a whole, I’m satisfied. We have had it for a couple of months now. No creaking noises, it looks pretty awesome, my son loves it, and you can’t beat the price. I think I will like it a whole lot better when I’m not sleeping underneath it ☺️. Update *** it’s been one year and bed is holding up great. My son got his own room finally, we added some pool noodles for safety and battery operated string lights underneath and on the rail. No issues! Great investment!

Mine has some flaws, but overall still a great bed.
Cosmetically, There were some dings and dents in some of the posts and rails which I assume is from shipping ...and there were give or take 3-4 screws that didn’t align very well, but I managed to get 3 of them in and only one screw that wouldn’t fit properly. (I didn’t tighten anything down unless the instructions indicated it). The top rail had to be bent slightly to get it to fit over the top end posts. I followed the directions and had no problems assembling except for the flaws listed above. Despite the flaws, I haven’t seen it compromise the structure of the bunk so far, and it feels pretty sturdy (but only time will tell). It would have been great to get a perfect loft bed, but Cosmetic damage wasn’t major so I made due with it, and I can settle for one screw missing due to misalignment of the drilled holes. (I’m not sure if it’s the posts...or if the guard rails were misaligned). It’s a metal bed and there is always gonna be a bit of warping from shipping and from exposure to the elements, and mass produced items aren’t going to be perfect all the time. I added some padding to the ladder steps using a pool noodle for comfort and to protect the paint as well from eventual wear and tear. All in all, I’m satisfied. The bed is functional...My Girls are happy with their new loft bed, the pink color is great. The height is perfect for my girls and for putting a toddler bed underneath. The bed suits my needs, and my girls are on the petite side, so it works for me. I tightened The bed pretty well and it wasn’t noisy unless you clang the metal with something. It did wobble a tiny bit while my daughter moved around on top, but I didn’t see it move any different than any other normal bunk does. Max load is 200lbs according to the specs so if you plan to share the bed, keep that in mind. If anything changes I’ll update my review. It arrived 4 days earlier than expected...Thank you Amazon and essential workers for all your hard work during this Corona virus pandemic. My family appreciates you!!!

Great!
I was pleasantly surprised. I listened to the reviews and am very happy we bought. It was easy to put together. Over an hour but the pieces fit easily and once we got going everything went smooth . The bed is sturdy and there were extra pieces just in case. My kid loves it and it has opened up their small bedroom and made lots of space to move. The space underneath is perfect and can be used for lots of different purposes. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing and sturdy bed. Definitely recommend for a toddler.

Sturdy and easy to put together
I'm very happy with the quality and the sturdiness of this loft bed. Instructions were straightforward and all parts labeled. Very minimal squeaking. I feel like the heavy wood bunk of my youth creaked and groaned more than this one. I would definitely buy again.

Great durability
We ordered these beds a year ago and they are still in great shape. I ordered the full size. I like the height of these loft beds because my boys are in basement bedrooms and the ceilings are low. It gives enough space under the beds for storage to free up the rest if the room. My sons use this space for their dressers and sport gear storage. I would reccomend thses beds especially of you need to maximize a small bedroom. There is some creaking of the frame but most bed frames do that and we put pool noodles on the ladder bevause the bar hurts your feet when climbing down.
