Works exactly as advertised with MARKING paint. Sturdier than the ones at the box stores. Wheel is not needed but has come in handy.

I bought this wand to mark where I want a contractor to level an area for a foundation. It was very easy to assemble but the description neglected to indicate that the spray paint can MUST have a spray nozzle that is activated by being pushed FORWARD - not down. Of course, I grabbed the wrong can and the wand was useless! Keson - shame on you for stating that any inverted marking paint can fits but not mentioning for your customers to look at the thpe of nozzle! I can't fault your product but I can take 1 star away for this.

This Keson PA35 Paint Marking Wand with a wheel works perfectly. I received the wand and the wheel in the same package as I expected. I also purchased a spray can of red Paint Marking paint that worked as designed with this wand. The longer shaft makes marking out where to dig or where not to dig very easy. NOTE: This paint marking wand will only work with paint marking spray cans. Don't try to use this with any other type of spray cans, like striping paint. It looks like this wand will last for quite some time if treated properly.

It’s a paint stick so I’m not expecting high quality. The trigger and the handle are not made to handle much and wears out and breaks faster than it seems like it should. I think they can do better but it is what it is.

This is a well made unit for a fair price ..... However there is a Problem for a Novice not Recognizing the difference between "Striping" and "Marking" When I purchased this unit one of those "often ordered with " tags pops up and it was Rustoleum Striping Paint..... So I ordered the paint and it is NOT COMPATIBLE with the "marking" tool.... the Spray nozzles on "Marking" paint and "Striping" paint are totally different and require a different TOOL to apply .

After getting everyone to move their cars, and plan parking space lines, the Keson marking wand failed. It did not break, but the trigger could not yield enough force on the nozzle to allow the paint to be released from the can. Good thing I brought lumber as an alternative method. Even though I got the job done, the marking wand was of no use. In fact buying the wand caused me to purchase inverted type paint. Since the wand did not work, the inverted can was harder to use manually than if I had purchased regular (non-inverted) spray paint. Maybe you have Herculean strength and can make it work for you.

I really like it ! For the marking during a grade, it’s perfect. The trigger tends to stuck but simply put a drop of lube (WD-40, jig-a-loo) and it works as a brand new

Makes marking out jobs so much easier and convenient

Simple design. Works as expected. Make sure you purchase marking paint otherwise you’ll struggle with using other paints not designed for a marking stick.

I do not provide reviews often on products but I feel this item needs upgrade, especially at this price range quality was expected. Design is poorly built with triger not engaging paint sprayer nozzle properly. I had to add tape to the can stem so the triger would push far enough to engage spray. Sometimes the trigger would get stuck and would have to rapidly remove the can from the holder to stop flow. Last week after putting a second can in and a few sprays here or there the wheel bracket broke, leaving me with a simple wand. Again cheap design with poor quality plastic and hardware.
