I wanted to replace three old, small file boxes with one more attractive piece, and decided to go with a clear file box and colorful file folders as a more affordable alternative to a file cabinet. I am so pleased with my decision and this particular file box! It was cheaper than several other brands and had Prime shipping. It was packaged securely in a box, and the label was easily removed, so I didn't have the problems some earlier purchasers experienced. The file box is very sturdy, and the lid snaps on tight. I can pick it up and carry it around without risking the lid falling off and the contents spilling. Hanging file folders, tab folders, and two pocket folders fit inside perfectly. I was able to fit all my important documents inside, and I love how quickly I can find what I'm looking for now. I highly recommend this product instead of a more expensive brand!

This is the second time I’ve ordered this file cabinet and the plastic is not as as heavy as the first. Also the lid doesn’t snap as tight as the first.The sizes are the same . I would actually order another one if needed.

These file boxes are just what we needed for HANGING file folders. We prefer the NON-locking tops for easy access to contents. Nice that the lids are also see-through. They are also very sturdy. Only problem was with shipping. The first order arrived with the contents damaged as the shipping container was rather flimsy and there was no inside packing material to buffer the contents. The company was very quick to replace the items, however, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Definitely would buy again.

I know this is a file box for legal and letter size files but I use it outside on my potting stand to keep items dry. It works great, fits on the shelf and keeps everything inside dry from the rain and sprinklers. It's not water proof but it keeps the rain off the contents and that's my whole intent. Of course if rain starts falling up from the ground this won't work out so well but that will be the least of my concerns in that event.

They arrived broken. I had to return them.

As it was mentioned in other reviews already, I also had 1 out of 8 boxes broken. But otherwise I do like the product.
