A: no

A: paperwork does not mention air filter-didn't know there was one

**Q: Can it really not be turned on after cooking until it cools down? Can the manufacturer clarify? That would be a deal-breaker.**
A: I've never had an issue with it not turning on after cooking until it cools down and I've cooked multiple things in batches. For example, I cooked chicken wings and then fried pickles in several batches when the wings got done.

A: Change filters when dirty.
