I've had this tape on my truck's rusty rocker panels for a few months now and it's still holding strong

I bought this thinking it was 3m film protector but was wrong. It is more of an adhesive tape. The product is thick enough that if you fold it there will be a permanent crease. I still used the product but installed without using a alcohol water mixture because it worked better.

I wanted something that was cheaper than the metal plates, protected my door threshold, and looked good. I guess 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. I took an extreme amount of care and just couldn’t get this stuff to lay down without air bubbles. I kept trying to pull it up and press down as it went down but the bubbles just kept popping up. One you lay it down, you will not fan out the bubbles like with tint. I tried to tell myself no one would notice but the problem is, I’d notice.
