Excellent cat toy and super durable
My 1-year-old cat Louie loves his feathers! They are so realistic and that is his go-to toy! He is continuously dragging it around the house with the wand attached! I would recommend these to anyone who has a cat! Great price also!

Our cats just love it as a toss toy!
High quality natural toy that our cats go crazy over. Excellent price and well made. I couldn't get it on the wand because our Emma wanted to play with it; so, I tossed it. Low and behold, it flies! We throw them around for them and they go nuts. Don't change anything please.

Flies and sounds like a real bird, irresistible to cats!
This review is for the feather toys. These are fantastic cat lures! My little guy sits next to where I keep the wand most of the day, hoping that I will bring it out for a session. I like to "dive" the lure at him, like an angry mother bird protecting her nest. He always plays until he's about to collapse! Each one is a little different, but most of them spin very well when they're fresh. The spinning of the lure makes it move very naturally, like a real bird. The whirring sound is a lot like the sound of flapping wings.Because they are made of natural materials, these lures don't last forever. You might need to do some first aid to get it spinning again after your cat catches it a few times. If you have a fishing pole toy and you like playing with your cat, then you should definitely try these!

Smokey likes it!
This chaser toy has my 2 year old tabby playing like a kitten! He has been so bored with all his other toys, but he was panting after "killing" this "bird" over and over. The feathers come out after moderate play but that is what glue guns are for. I also like that the feathers are undyed. I removed the metal bell since I didn't want to take the chance of him snagging a tooth in the loop that held it in place.

Reasonably priced replacements for playful cats
I bought the original toy from a pet store for $15 bucks and it got immediately munched by my youngest cat. These are a great and affordable replacement that easily clipped on to the existing pole. Pretty lifelike movement when the feathers are in good condition!

My cat loves them, I bet yours will too!
The media could not be loaded. My cat LOVES these "da bird" toys. I wanted to try these replacements because they were a really great value for the quantity. The original replacements from Da Bird have two feathers that are flexible and soft. This set has three firm feathers (still soft). My cat likes both and doesn't really care about which one we are using to play. They function identically so using them is easy. They both have clasps at the top to swap out.The colors are bright on the accent feathers and the same as the name brand as far as the large core feathers go.My cat has so much fun with this cat toy. We get hours of play out of it! I highly recommend it.One "negative" note I have about this cat toy is that the top where the black piece is with the clasp is really hard plastic. On the name brand, it's more of a rubber texture. If your cat were to bite this during play, it might hurt. My cat has never done that or even came close, but it was something I noticed as a diligent pet parent.

Sharp points!
Our cat loved these. HOWEVER, these feather are not the soft, fine feathers that are also available. The feathers are about 4 inches long and are very sharp. It is very important to not send these sailing into your cats face because they could easily cause damage to the eyes of your cat(s) or even the face in general. Also, when a cat begins to chew on them, the sharp portions of the feather do have the tendency to poke into the gums or roof of the mouth. I would consider getting a more soft feather toy if you are playing with kittens. What I DO like about these feather toys is that they have no dye. The price is reasonable, and as with anything, what worries me about these gizmos may not worry you. Give 'em a go and decide for yourself.

Good as originals
These are quality replacements for da bird. In fact, they may be better. To be honest, my little 3 month old kitten will tear anything up in short order. These last as long as the originals, albeit still not long enough.
