I purchased these for my 16-year-old as he's learning to drive. These are great for other drivers to take notice and give my child a little bubble for which to learn safely on the road. When the stickers are on people back up a little bit and don't honk. My child in turn feels safe knowing that if he makes a mistake other drivers will be more forgiving as he is a new driver . The stickers create this bubble around him as he is driving because the other drivers back away and give him more space as he is driving. The stickers are very clear and well made. They are thick which is good because they won't curl. When you purchase these remember that not every part of your car is magnetic. I ended up buying two packages. Two on the sides ( front and back) and hood and rear . We have a large car and I want to make sure that other drivers saw that my son was a new driver from all angles. The stickers are very helpful. Teaching your child to drive is stressful enough. So stressful!! Especially with all the mistakes that they make. The stickers ensure that other drivers let my child make those mistakes in the safe space and share the road more kindly. This is my second son to go to drivers training and I am very thankful for these stickers.

Works exactly as advertised. Not huge but easily visible from a distance. The magnets are strong enough to make them stick very securely. Very convenient to use, though I am careful not to bend them. Based on other reviews I would not leave them in one place on the car for an extended period of time, especially in hot weather.

I had the pleasure of teaching 2 of my boys how to drive in southern California this summer. I loved the idea of using reflective magnets as a heads up to other drivers, especially on the freeway. It worked, we forgot them one day and it was night and day how other drivers responded to them. People were more patient, some got out of their way, but mostly no one cut them off, or aggressively rode them and rushed them. I bought 2 different types because I was torn. These were my favorite. They are strong magnets, didn't damage my paint job, were a good size, and easily viewable and readable from a distance. I'd buy them again, but doubt I'll need to. They seem quality enough to make it through my next two kids as well. I did remove them when we were not driving because we lived in a very hot Mojave desert setting. I was worried the heat would ruin them. The quality of the surrounding areas was questionable and I worried someone might steal them.

Simple and straight to the point, no need to ask for "patience please" and other fluff. "Student Driver" says it all. Friends of ours have another one that is the same size, but has all the extra verbiage, making very hard to read. Nice size, legible from afar, and very visible day and night. Magnetically sticks well and stays in place...although, admittedly, we haven't "graduated" to freeways just yet. We have noticed people give our daughter a bit more maneuvering room with them affixed to the vehicle, but beware, there are still impatient (or illiterate? or both!?) jerks out there driving who don't extend the extra courtesy...sad, sad people. Still, I highly recommend these. Very professionally made.

Found out what is not steel on my car. Seems there is a aluminum hood. But these signs work great on the back hatch of my car. it does not really have a lot of smooth flat area, but the signs do bend enough to mold them selves to the hatch. They and stayed on at highway speeds, with heavy rain and wind. and the fact they are magnetic instead of stickers. i can remove them at ease. getting a second set for our other car the new drive is learning on if I'm not home in mine.

My son just received his temps and is gradually getting used to being behind the wheel of a car. He's responsible and careful and doing very well, however I quickly realized not everyone sharing the road is as patient and courteous, unaware that he is a novice driver who should be given a little space. This magnet is exactly what I wanted. It is strong but flexible so it will not damage the paint. It's a perfect size to fit across the trunk lid and brightly colored/reflective so it stands out to other drivers. It's a cheap and simple precaution, but if it makes learning to drive just a little bit safer for our son, it's worth 10x the cost. I'd highly recommend.

I am so glad I got these for our student driver. I didn't want to put any stickers on our cars, and these are great. Other drivers are "nicer", though they are probably just being cautious with their cars. They allow more space when trying to merge, and no one has blasted their horn when there were some less-than-wise decisions made while in traffic. I place on on the right and left rear sides of my car. Unfortunately, my trunk is not magnetic, so I took an Amazon box, cut some cardboard into a stand, taped the magnet to the cardboard stand and placed it in my rear window. Easy and free solution. When my teen is finished driving, I take down the magnets and toss them in the seat pockets for next time. Highly recommended.

My kid was so nervous on the road prior to these handy magnets. Once i stuck these on the car, which by the way they are good magnets and stayed on the car really well. Anyway once i stuck these on the car he felt a sense of calm knowing those driving around us KNEW he was a new student driver so if they wanted to go around us... they would without all the crazy road rage. I can't tell you how assuring it is for a parent with a new driver to have these little magnets. Something so simple giving such reassurance. It's great!!!!! I hope other parents find these magnets just as helpful to them. The quality is really good so no complaints here. :)

Love these magnet "Student Driver" signs. They have significantly reduced the number of impatient drivers my "teen children drivers" and I encounter on the road. Large and reflective, I would recommend these for all learning drivers and their parents.
