Makes cutting biltong easy
Even tough biltong is easily cut by this. You can get shavings even. After struggling with cutting home made biltong using a knife (one of the hardest parts of the process), this makes it fairly effortless. I've only owned it a short time, but the quality seems decent and the way the little tray connects magnetically is helpful for cleaning and storage. The rubber grips on the bottom stop it from slipping. No complaints so far.

Perfect!
If you're a fan of biltong you need this slicer. Super sharp, well made, nice weight. I am extremely happy with this product and it gets almost daily use. We make our own biltong and it can get through the driest batches very easily. You can control the thickness of the slices, and can even cut paper thin if you want. Be careful as it is incredibly sharp. Very happy with this purchase.

Great for biltong.
This cutter is perfect for biltong. The curved base makes it easy to slide forward for the next slice no matter the size and shape. Blade is sharp and can cut thin slices.

Great but mine came damaged
Dented and magnet fell out but I couldn’t be bothered with returning for that. I’ll live with the dent and I’ll glue magnet back in. Apart from that it’s great. Easy to clean, cuts like a surgeon. Super sharp. They say not to touch the blade….well of course I did.. nothing a bandsid couldn’t fix lol

Like the simplicity of design, slices through biltong without any problem, only used for a week, hopefully the blade remains sharp.
