Wow! I'm so impressed with this whey! I've tried a lot of different brands of whey protein powders over the past 25 years. Anywhere from brands you can get at the big box stores, to specialty brands you could only get at health food stores and even a few subscription based ones only gym bros knew about. Seriously, if you name it, I've probably tried it. I haven't used whey protein shakes as part of my diet for the past couple years. I just kind of got away from them. But after a visit with a functional health professional, I was in the market looking for a whey protein powder to supplement my diet as I need more protein in my diet but can't eat anymore meat than I already do. I appreciate that this whey is JUST whey. No lecithin. No synthetic sugar substitutes. No "natural flavors". No hidden additives, just whey. This whey protein was easy to use in my shake, digested well with zero effects. No stomach upset. It has NO taste. I appreciate I was able to buy a smaller bag in case I didn't like it. For me, I haven't noticed excessive foaming like some reviewers mentioned. I mixed mine in whole raw milk though. I'm not sure if maybe the others experiencing lots of foam were using water or a nut milk? The other thing I noticed is, it doesn't mix well by hand in cold or hot . Not a deal breaker for me as I usually always use my blender. But I did try to add it to my hot coffee like a powdered creamer and it didn't work. My favorite recipe I've been making with this whey is: 10 oz whole (raw) milk 25g grass fed whey 1 TBS Cacao powder 1/2 TBS King Arthur malted milk (cleanest brand I can find) Combine with blender, poor over ice, enjoy Thank you to Raw Grass Fed Whey for making a pure whey product for a reasonable price!

No additives or sugar. Pure whey that I use for some extra protein in smoothies made with fruit and frozen chopped kale.

Tastes soooo delicious. After One World Whey got discontinued over a decade ago, I was heartbroken. As a raw milk gym girlie, this is the answer to my prayers. They better never go out of business! This is easier on the stomach, has way more nutrients and vitamins than dead milk whey, and it has a way better taste and cleaner product. Do it

I decided to try out the 12 oz size. I'm going to break it down into pros and cons. Pros * A2/A2 milk - I'm extremely sensitive to dairy products that are A1 based and this gave me no issues whatsoever. I don't really care that it's not certified as A2 since it looks like they're using all Jersey cows. * Very good quality protein - With a little math it's easy to see that the protein content is about 84%, which is approaching whey isolate content. * Excellent amino acid profile - Enough said. * No additives - Dietary gums, emulsifiers, and fillers (e.g. xanthan gum, carrageenan, lecithin, etc.) to make it easier to blend/mix can cause all sorts of digestive issues in the long run. This has none. Useful for anyone following any diet program from Dr. Will Davis (Wheatbelly, Undoctored, Super Gut). * Price is very competitive - When you look at how expensive most A2 whey protein is, it's hard to miss the fact that it's priced closer to common A1 type whey protein (what you find virtually everywhere). * Taste was neutral - Did not taste cheesy or overly strong. Cons * Can have some impurities - after seeing some of the other reviews I decided to run the whole package through a sieve and found a grain of rice and a few small broken pieces of rice. Not a deal breaker for me, but it could be off-putting to some. * No measuring scoop is included - Not a big issue but it could be bothersome to anyone that doesn't have an extra one in their kitchen. I had to use one from another brand. As an additional note, it's not easy to mix with a spoon due to the fact that it has no additives. But I would say that this is a feature, not a bug. I intend to order some more to verify the issue with impurities and then I will update the review. *** Update 4/24/2022 Purchased the 5 pound bag a little over a month ago. Protein quality is still excellent but a small amount of impurities remain. Most of the impurities are rice fragments (again), but I did find a single piece of black plastic shaped like a rice kernel. I'm attaching pictures. I still think it's a worthwhile product although it takes a little time out of my schedule to filter through an entire 5-pound bag searching for impurities. I'm updating my rating to 5 stars with the hope that they will continue to improve their quality control. Will update my review if anything changes.
