Good Quality
I installed this in the shower of a vintage travel trailer and it works great, still looks new and shiny after quite some time. The metal feels sturdy and the chrome looks great. It works so well that I ordered the matching towel rack and toilet paper holder.

Descent holder, difficult to mount close to sinks
The soap dish itself is of reasonable quality, especially for its price point. Once mounted, it also seems quite sturdy. The issue is getting the thing mounted in the first place, especially when you want to mount close to a surface. You first mount a wall bracket and then you slide the soap dish onto the bracket and tighten that small screw to hold it in place. You are limited by how short your screwdriver is to how close you can mount the soap dish to the surface below. Not a big deal for showers, but it really can be for some sinks.

This soap holder Requires two vertical holes into the tile.
Product comes with two mounting screws for the bracket and they said screw underneath to attach the soap holder. We used it to replace a chrome soap holder which, over time, pitted and corroded. We bought the stainless steel with a hope and expectation that it would hold up better in the shower. Many holders attach horizontally, that is to say you need to drill two holes, one Next to the other. Our existing holder had horizontal mounts. This holder has two screws that mount vertically. My expectation was I would simply have to remove the old screws and use existing holes. In fact, it took a little longer because I had to drill an additional hole Vertically through the tile. That was the biggest “hold up.“ The chrome version of this soap holder is three or four dollars less expensive and does have Horizontal mounds. We know this because we bought the Moen Chrome holder for our other shower. For that, I only had to takeoff our old holder and use the existing horizontal holes.

Heavy duty, YES! Is it a Moen? 🤷♂️
When I received the product it came in a generic white box that said nothing on it. There was no paperwork included with the holder or anything. No where on this holder do I see the name "Moen" on it. I question the products origin and what factory it came out of🤷♂️. Ok with that being said, the product itself is pretty heavy duty. It weighs a good little bit. The wall mount for this is so stupid. Whoever engineered it needs to be fired. The holder comes with a pre-mount that you mount to the wall with 2 screws included with the holder. The soap holder then slips over top of this pre-mount and it is held on with a screw at the very bottom. Sounds great don't it? Nope! Instead of just using a regular screw to put in the bottom of the holder the engineers decided to use a setscrew that looks to be made for eyeglasses! The setscrew is extremely small and can only be tightened with a tiny precision scewdriver or eyeglasses screwdriver! Why in the heck did they try to over-engineer this product by using a silly tiny setscrew?!? Well those are all of my gripes about this product. It is pretty heavy duty and it looks nice but is it actually a Moen? Who knows🤷♂️
