This is an awesome tool! I've had issues with rain drainage in the front yard for years. After a couple of hours with this tiller - no more issues. I had previously attempted to dig out the ditch with shovels and Dutch hoe with little success at achieving a smooth steady downhill slope to the drain down the road.After putting an edge on the tangs using a rotary tool, this thing crawled right through established roots and grass to allow for a clear running drainage ditch.Battery operation is awesome, no cables and you're not limited to distance from an outlet.The head has good weight that provides just the right amount of pressure that allows the tangs to dig in without the need to wear yourself out constantly applying pressure yourself - let the tool do all the work.Two tips; sharpen the edges of the tongs will help cut through roots, thick grass, compacted soil etc.Wear safety glasses - unlike an edger which kicks the dirt out away from you, the tiller crawls forward and pitches dirt and water toward you - doesn't throw it with enough force to cause injury but in wet mudd, you're gonna get wet.

Works great but is a lot tinier than I expected. The protective cover for the blades doesn't lock in so you have to be careful.

I bought this cordless tiller for my home gardening and am very satisfied with it. This tillers impressive features and ease of use makes it very effective. One great thing is the cordless design. I don’t have to worry about it being connected to a power source and dealing with the annoyance of a cord. The battery life despite this is excellent and long enough to where I’m never worried about getting my garden work done in time before I need a recharge. Also its size is great and still packs a punch. It is effortless and saves me lots of time and effort. The design is ergonomic and is very comfortable to hold. It has minimal strain on me even after using it for a while. The safety features are also really effective. Overall I would definitely recommend this product for anyone in need of a tiller that will do the job.

Used it one afternoon until the battery wore out. Charged the battery over night and went to use the unit the second day and it would not start so I called the manufacturer service department and they said I should email them which I did. Have not heard back from them yet. I will keep you informed on whether or not the service department gets back to me. If they don’t get back, I would suggest you look for another manufacturer.UPDATE: it has been three days now since I made my request and the service department still has not gotten back to me. Maybe because they know it cannot be fixed and they just do not want to admit it. I emailed them a second time just to make sure they received my email the first time.UPDATE: two weeks and no call or email from Unoke. Why make me wait for your response????UPDATE: still no response back from UKOKE.All I ask, is just be professional and call me back and just let me know if the unit can be repaired or it cannot be repaired.AMAZON Please help!

I used this for my landscaping at home. It works great. Came with the battery installed, which is strange but it was 3/4 charged and it's not hooked up to the motor until assembled. Assembly is simple. I used it for over 2hrs off and on and the battery held up fine. It chews up the soil with no problem. I had some damp areas and some dry areas. No problem for either. A huge improvement for my home with a lot less effort on my part. Makes me kinda want to extend the landscaping.Update: One year later. Still going great. My son used it to prep for a concrete parking pad and save a ton of work. Still using the original battery. This thing does wonders. I think back on the big 3 hp tiller I had years ago that used to beat me up and just shake my head. You won't be disappointed with this. This thing just goes and goes. I'm amazed.
