With its high quality, it is the most capable keyboard to challenge productivity.
Quality: In my opinion, it's a fully evolved version of the KC1000. It lacks the cheap plastic feel of the KC1000, feels solid overall, and the keys don't wobble excessively. Thanks to the metal support, deformation is barely noticeable. Typing Feel: Smoother than the KC1000, but retains its tactile feedback. More comfortable than the Logitech K295 because of its lower overall height, but without any added stiffness. More stable than laptop keyboards; it can be considered an enhanced version of a laptop keyboard. Sound: Quieter than the KC1000, basically on par with the K295. Quite quiet in actual use. Summary: I think it's the best membrane keyboard type outside of mechanical keyboards, a godsend for those who don't want the high travel distance of mechanical switches.

New fan of Cherry.
I was looking for a smaller keyboard so that it would fit in a tight space, but didn't want the keys on the keyboard to be shrunken down. Looking around, I stumbled onto this keyboard without the numpad. I had no idea they made them this way. Perfect I thought and then I read the reviews. Hmm. German engineering, can't go wrong there. Received the keyboard in a few days and I am impressed by it's quality. It's sturdily made and the keys feel great. It's not silent, but close to it. Kind of like the logitech mice with near silent clicks. So glad I took the chance with this keyboard. Update: took away one star cause the keys are pretty fragile. just cleaning caused my caplocks key to be unstable.

Fabulous!
Perfect for limited space and those who don't need a seperate numerical keypad enough to justify them taking up extra berth on desk. Centerfield never aligned well with monitor which determined the following layout of components. Experimenting with several configurations, 10 keyless, including swap out key style compact game keyboards that click and are too tall, to ergonomic wave shaped and ordinary rectangular shapes, nothing yet had worked or fit comfortably on desk. Cherry Stream keyboard answered with their amazing layout and dimensions. Keys really are phenomenal! Perfect size, indent for fingertip allowing faster travel and smoother typing. Overall solid, unlike standard QWERTY keyboards that bend or flex. Cherry has an elegant professional feel about it. Corners are rounded, proportionally pleasing to the eye and the Modern white color tone is calm not Titanium sharp. By far the best keyboard I've ever used at home or in jobs where zero personal peripherals drives et al were allowed in employee workspaces, you had to use their equipment. Consider the dimensions; Cherry is a bit deeper front to back with narrower width. Quality is far above average, more than I expected, it's a super bargain for a such well made keyboard. Buy one now before Amazon runs out because I want to order another soon.

If you loved logitech flat ultrax, you'll love this
Now that I've bought a second one as a "backup" I can share this; was reluctant before to make sure people dont buy them out. ;-) If you are like me, who absolutely loved logitech flat ultrax, and wept when they stopped making those... Yes, this is the next version of those. Yes the keys feel great. It's a bit closer to the second model of ultrax (a bit more force needed to press the button - initially), but I'm sure with time I'll wear those down a bit and make them work like ultrax v1. ;-) As a flat ultrax lover, I never found a better keyboard, until now. Not only we get a TKL version, but this boy is so thin, and quiet... And has the perfect weight. A bit heavier than ultrax I believe, does not feel like a flimsy $10 keyboard. I've tried numerous mechanical low-profile keyboards and they all had something that just didn't feel right. Either the key travel or the actuation force never clicked (ha ha) with me. Cherry Stream feels like typing on those old IBM/Lenovo keyboards, where the designer paid more attention to the typing comfort than how they looked (not saying they looked bad, though). I stashed around 8-10 other keyboards after getting this one, just because the typing comfort tops them all easily. If you're thinking I've said the same thing too many times, you're right, but that's just because I love typing on this keyboard, it's simply a pleasure. I could produce more clone/nonsense sentences, just to enjoy the experience of typing on this GOOD BOY. I love that keyboard. I hope they never stop making them. Personally I believe no other keyboard comes close to how right they got the feel on this one. Thank you so much. IMPORTANT EDIT: this is NOT a gaming keyboard, though. it registers up to three keys pressed at the same time, but if you need 4+ more, it just wont work. Best typing keyboard, not necessarily the best gaming keyboard, depending on your game.

Great design and build quality at a great price.
As something of a keyboard snob I am really happy with this purchase. This beauty reminds me of my favorite laptop keyboards found on Thinkpads. The keys are quiet but have a slight clickiness and responsiveness that feels very accurate while typing. The keys are lower profile and don't move around like my old sloppy Logitech. Love dropping the number pad as I never used it so now I have more room for my mouse. The build quality is excellent for this price. If you're looking for something that feels kind of like a middle-ground between a full mechanical and membrane keyboard this is one to check out.

Excellent tenkeyless keyboard for typing
This is great TKL keyboard for typing. The keyswitches are very tactile without being too stiff, and the keyboard is very quiet when typing. It would be perfect for office use. The keyboard itself feels very high quality, and had more weight to it than I imagined when I removed it from the box. The metal plate inside of it makes it feel very stable and planted on the desktop and helps with the typing feel. The key labels look to be pad-printed, which usually lasts much longer than white laser etching (white letters on black keys) on some keyboards. Ideally, dye sublimation and double-shot key labels last longer, but I have old logitech keyboards with pad-printed key labels that have lasted many years with no degradation of the key labels at all. For gaming, I have heard this keyboard does not allow certain combinations of 3 keys to be pressed at once, but so far in all the gaming I have done, it works fine unless you are used to pressing 4 keys at a time for some commands. The light indicators for the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock are easy to see but only super bright when looking straight down at the keys. The typing feel is amazing. For me it is the perfect level of tactility..very tactile, but in no way is it tiring to type on. There is no mushiness at all. I can't believe they are selling this for $25. It feels more like $50-$80 keyboard to me. I'm going to buy another one just to have on hand. The styling of the keyboard is very 'professional'.. meaning.. no fancy RGB or gimmicks, and the metal "Cherry" logo at the bottom is a classy touch. Overall, an excellent TKL keyboard for those that like that Thinkpad-like typing experience but with a higher quality feel to it. I can type faster than ever on this thing with very few mistakes. I hope Cherry keeps making these keyboards!

Stick with Cherry, you will NOT be disappointed!
I work fulltime at home in an office setting. I type for a living and as such, I have gone through many, many keyboards over the years. I have always been a fan of mechanical keyboards. The most recent keyboard I was using was a Hyper X with Cherry blue switches that I have been using for the past two years. Prior to that, I had a Steelseries keyboard with their own branded mechanical blue switches. I used to love typing on a mechanical keyboard, but over time, I have grown tired of the clicking and clacking, as well as the force required to press the keys, and the tall height as well. When you type hundreds of documents a month, your fingers on a mechanical keyboard become fatigued. I was in the market for a new (non mechanical) keyboard for my work purposes and I know from experience that Cherry is a high quality, trusted brand. I used to use scissor switches years back before I moved to mechanical and my last scissor switch keyboard was a Logitech which was amazing. I figured I would give this keyboard a try, and all I can say is Wow! I LOVE the typing experience on this Cherry keyboard. The TKL layout brings my mouse hand closer inwards which helps with an ergonomic setup. The keys are very soft, quiet and still have a very tactile feel with a nice “pop” feeling with each press. The keys have a rough-ish texture that helps with finger grip. As well, they are wide and easy to press with even the slightest touch. These are no mechanical keys, which, for me, is a great benefit and exactly what I was hoping for. Absolutely love everything about this keyboard. It looks premium, feels extremely durable and high quality. It is an all plastic design, but it feels every bit as solid as my steel mechanical keyboards. I just can’t believe how low the price was on such a quality product from a well known company! If you type for a living and you are not a fan of mechanical keyboards, then you will NOT be disappointed with this. It is small, compact, yet still large enough to comfortably type on and it feels very nice and high quality. Love this keyboard!

This is going to be my go to keyboard for a long time
This is going to be my go to keyboard for a long time. I love this keyboard. Feels like great quality. It's got close the same satisfaction of typing as a mechanical keyboard, however, with only 10% or less of the noise. It's NOT THE SAME. But good enough. Looks nice. Feels nice. I like it!
