With this product, I no longer get electrolyte imbalance/"Keto Flu" when I practice ketogenic, low-carb eating. If you've done the research, you know that carbs & insulin often hold a lot of our electrolytes in the standardamericandiet. I bought many electrolytes individually in preparation for a water fast this year. Some are pretty miserable to take due to taste but I trusted them to not interfere with my ketosis. I searched long & hard & got these electrolytes individually, then purchased this multivitamin a month later. The point ?? I have replaced all 4+ bottles of magnesium, potassium, B-complex etc with this 1 bottle. *My* ketogenic lifestyle is not recommended-I eat keto until something comes along (my favorite sushi, pizza night, etc) & I do a 'carb day.' Then back to keto. Keto has changed my life & corrected my hormones that have made me gain weight. I choose to do water fasting to cement my weight loss progress right now when I use this unconventional method, as the 1 carb day makes my body really want to stockpile fat immediately. Again, I do not recommend doing what I do. But basically, I switch back & forth. I use these multivitamins every time I do keto now. I don't even always do the recommended dose (3 daily) & I have never gotten the keto flu again, after the first time where I didn't know what was happening. I have switched from keto to carb & back again over 10x by now. I only usually take these on keto days & try to get my electrolytes in with the carbs on carb days. Just like the comment below mine; I attribute my ability to avoid keto flu on a weekly & monthly basis exclusively to this multivitamin. As far as I'm concerned it REALLY works. PS, pill is the normal capsule size. I wouldn't care with these valuable benefits, but it is.

Dr. Atkins' Diet Revolution book recommended taking a multivitamin supplement while adhering to his Atkins low carb diet. This multivitamin is close to the Atkins basic #3 formula he recommended with the combination of vitamins & minerals without the added sugar, or iron. I take a vitamin with each meal--3 a day. I have remained healthy and full of energy while losing the desired weight on the Atkins program. I also do not experience any distasteful after taste or belching back up of vitamin contents like I have had with other multiple daily vitamin products. I would recommend them. Barbara Duke RN

These vitamins are great; glad I found something comparable to the Atkins vitamins I used to take, while doing a low-carb diet! I feel good on them! I do have a hard time swallowing these capsules because of the gel capsule; it seems to stick in my throat and I can't get them down, even though I can swallow huge calcium pills, etc. So I just break them open and put them in my Crystal Light drink, stir it up and drink it down. Doesn't upset my stomach at all, so that works for me!

No keto flu.

I started taking these when I started the Keto diet and they've helped immensely. I had very minimal "Keto flu" symptoms and I credit a large part of that to these multi-vitamins. I also appreciate that they cover the low-carb diet needed nutrients as well as just overall multi-vitamin needs. I was able to completely replace my other multi-vitamins with these and get the extra bonus low-carb recommended vitamins. I just wish they would make these in a capsule form. The form they're in now is a bit difficult to swallow as they get stuck in my throat if I take more than one at a time.
