Why did you pick this product vs others?: This stuff stopped the roof from leaking in what seemed to be a seal leak but was really a fabric leak.

So much easier that the spray I used before! No masking needed. It does drip, so you must change your technique. Start from the bottom and work your way up. This will provide a wet base and drip from above will absorb into the wet area vs. rolling all the way off onto windows and the body. I just did my XK and you can see it really restores the color. it's worth the wait for UK shipping. I'll report back of waterproofing ability.

I followed the directions and there was a YouTube video showing how to use it, shampooing the top, letting it dry then applying the waterproofer. I used it on an '05 mini Cooper top.

This product works great. I recommend it to everyone.

Covered great but should have cover places not to be covered.

Waste of money. Applied as directed and water doesn't even bead. But blessing in disguise because I had dye the roof anyway.

Not that impressive especially for the price. Followed all instructions to the letter. The cleaner brought some grease and dirt to the surface, but did not remove alot of it even after 3 tries and a soft bristle brush. There is barely enough of the waterproof solution to do the entire top completely. Have a couple of small damp spots when wet. Used another product to redo.

This is the second time that I have bought this product. On the first occasion it was to 'restore' a suborn stain on a 'targa' soft top that the garage, prior to sale of the car, had promised but failed to remove. The cleaning agent was very effective and whilst I went over it twice to achieve perfection, the stains were quite bad on a 4 year old car that had always been outside. The cleaning (after the second run) was perfect but the spectacular results are with the sealant whose results are most apparent after it has rained when the rain drops bead like they would on newly waxed paint. I was nervous to use the colour restorer / dye as my roof did not really need it so I cannot comment on the product. It is really important to adequately mask the rest of the car, including glass, before you use the sealant. If any drops come in contact with the glass or paint work, you will struggle to remove them. As with everything, preparation is everything. I rarely write reviews but this product deserved very positive comment. I recommend it
