All our invertebrates and fish love these calcium chips! We have neocaridina shrimp, mystery snails, nerite snails, corys and guppies. Every single one nibbles on these chips! The inverts have great shells and are growing well. Perfect product for our needs.

55g planted. My Malaysian trumpet snail army and Nerite snails approve. The MTS are noticeable larger than before. The Nerites no longer suffer from shell erosion. The shrimp and fish love to eat them too, although this wasn’t bought with them in mind. I suppose the egg-carrying female Amanos look a bit bigger and robust than before. This has been a very beneficial supplement for the tank and a little goes a long way.

First off let me say that I really enjoy my aquatic snails and try to give them the very best. I found this supplement when researching new(er) calcium products on the market. They were not crazy about the previous calcium supplement I used and it mostly just dissolved into the water column. But they LOVE this! They eat it just like their regular sinking food. No piece of this has ever remained overnight so they’re definitely drawn to it. My snails have grown rapidly, are regularly active, and have bright colored smooth shells. I do believe this supplement has contributed to them thriving. I will buy it again. As well as try other products from this company.

100% the best food for your snails. I tried others based on recommendations from a snail groups and actually lost 2 mystery snails when I switched and the shells of my snails started to deteriorate. I was also was using cuttle bone and it still didn’t do anything. My snails ignored it. Never again. Went back to this and my snails are thriving again. My rabbit snails even had babies and they are doing great. My snails all hang out at the front of the tank because that is where I drop their food. So they sit and wait for this stuff.

My snails and shrimp love these. They don't disintegrate in the aquarium. However, the shrimp and snails leave white poops everywhere which is no big deal if you don't have dark pieces of wood decorating your tank.

My mystery snails love these and come as soon as I put these in the tank. They eat one piece per snail in about 24 hours while still eating the left over fish food. I notice better activity and growth since starting this food. Notice the new shell growth on my blue/grey snail in the photos.

I have been using these for about three months at this point, offering at least one chip a day to my Colombian ramshorn (literally the coolest snail ever), and she seems to love it. You get a ton of chips for the price, and they have lasted me a long time. Her shell has grown healthily and she’s still energetic despite her being the size of my palm. In addition, my adult guppies are beasts when it comes to these chips, the babies however don’t care nearly as much unless they are snacky. The only thing I noticed it doing to the fish is passing through them rather quickly, turning their poop into a more… powdery look?
