Boxer Dogs love them, long-lasting, but expect some gas
My dogs absolutely love these and they keep them entertained for a long time, which is a huge plus. They’re great for chewing and help keep them busy for hours. One thing I really like is that when they get small and become a choking hazard, you can put the leftover piece in the microwave and it puffs up into a crunchy treat. It’s a great way to not waste any of it. The only downside is the gas—it’s noticeably worse after they have these, so just be aware if your dog has a sensitive stomach. Pros: • Dogs love them • Long-lasting chew • Can microwave the small pieces to reuse • Great for keeping dogs occupied Cons: • Can cause pretty strong gas (maybe it’s just my boxers) • May not be ideal for sensitive stomachs (but my dogs seem to be fine with them) Overall, these are great if your dog enjoys long-lasting chews, and I love that you can use every last piece.

Thumbs Up. From human of Aggressive Chewer
We have an AGGRESSIVE CHEWER -we adopted a 3 year old HUSKY. My sister who is taking care of her fur grandbaby (also a Husky) suggested these. Yeah a little pricey. However the dog loves them. - and they seem to last for days. I would highly recommend. Comes in different sizes and quantities

My dogs love these chews!
Pleased with the Eckokind Premium Gold Yak dog chews. I have them on a subscription and that is so helpful. I have two medium size dogs and one chew each lasts them about 3 days. When they get fairly small I take them away and put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds and give them back a small biscuit to chew on. Be sure to cool them first. I am also glad they have only have 3 ingredients.

Basset Hound Approved
Our basset hound loves these, one will last him a good few weeks. I'm happy to give him something to gnaw on that's safer than a rawhide and he can't just gobble down either, it's just the right toughness that he has to work at it, but doesn't get bored or discouraged that it's too hard. I haven't quite figured out what to do with the last nub, when it's so small he actually bites himself on accident trying to hold it still and I just end up throwing it away, but that's not so bad a tradeoff. Happy dog, happy owner.

This product is true to the way it promotes itself.
My golden really enjoys these. It keeps her busy since these take a very long time to wear down. It tires her out after almost an hour. I take it away and give it back to her at another day and she dives into it I haven’t noticed any side effects.

Dangerously Sharp
I am beyond disappointed, im appalled. This recipe for a dog treat is meant for long term chewing. the pet parents buying these treats, myself included, are looking for something that’ll occupy their anxious or energetic pups while they’re unable to be outside. The yak cheese treats are brilliant when made by a responsible brand. Ecokind is not that responsible brand. The treats potential to focus their energy in an engagingly safe, positively challenging, excitingly enjoyable way for the pup & the pup parents lives is HUGE!! It doesn’t keep my pups attention for more than an hour or so because they are just quite difficult to consume. Id compare it to like hard candies for humans - it isn’t easy to chew and requires a lot saliva to begin breaking it down. and, like a jawbreaker or something, it will just get boring or your mouth will tire out before youre willing to dive back in again lol. That being said, these specific yak cheese treats by Ecokind are straight up dangerous. I included a video along with several photos where I’ve highlighted one section in particular, how sharp this treat becomes all over as it splinters as it breaks down. Hopefully the video wasn’t compressed to a level that eliminates the detail. If there video isn’t helpful, I also included a different brand’s treat that has about the same amount of attention & the cmparison is night & day. VIDEO TLDR: there’s several places on the treat broke down & now resemble little arrowheads coming out of the treat basically. They’re sharp as heck. I rubbed my fingertip against them with as much pressure as I could without hurting myself and I was able to easily cut through the very top layer skin without the arrowhead part even moving a millimeter. It’s honestly so sad to think about because this is just the side that I could easily display in a photo. All the other pointy parts couldn’t really be photographed with my non-photographer lighting cause it would just blend in to the background of the treat. Dogs won’t stop eating something just because it cut them & made their mouths bleed. They’ll just find an easier way to consume it. I had bought two brands at the same time - i don’t even know why lol I think i just wanted to see if one was better because there are so many brands offering this same recipe on amazon. Good thing I did tho… if you’re going to buy these treats, buy them from Mighty Paws, the treat on the right in the pics. Or even just try a different brand instead & just make sure you constantly check the way they’re breaking down until you’re certain they break down safely. You dont have to get mighty paws, but if you love your pet, dont buy from Ecokind. Protect your pups stay away from this brand.

Possible metal?
Okay so I like these chews, or should I say, my dog likes these chews! They are long lasting and entertain her for more than a day. But I'm a bit confused. Like all Himilayan chews, when they get down to a short 2" nub, you can soak them in water for around 10 minutes and then put them in the microwave for 30 seconds or so. It creates a safe "cheese puff" treat for your pooch that they can't choke on. I did this like usual this week and my microwave was making noises as if there was metal inside the chew. I swear I saw a slight spark as well. I'm not sure what that was about, but I am giving it 3 stars for now. Will see how the next ones go. Very strange!

My Dog Loved It
Takes my Labrador about a day to finish one bar, so it's good as a long-lasting chew (relatively).

Just ok.
It's o.k. not at all long lasting as the original Yak chews used to be. My German Shepherds go through them in an hour leaving a ton of messy tiny, sharp pieces on the ground. Not even something the proper size to microwave into a treat! It just crumbled. Also does not have that great cheesy/lime smell like the original had. However, it is a proper price compared to other brands.
