Arrived in one piece, great addition but not as good as the chili crisp imo.
This is a great condiment at a great price. I had originally tried a small jar of the spicy chili crisp which was phenomenal. I decided to get this, one, because of price/size, and, two, because it had a few reviews comparing this to the crisp and this was preferred. I personally prefer the chili crisp to this because it has a deeper and saltier flavor. This one isn't as "flavored" but it's still good, it has peanuts instead of roasted soybeans but you can't really taste any of the peanut. The peanuts are a bit rubbery, I was hoping/thinking they would be roasted and crunchy but not a big deal. I think I really missed the onion flavor from the crisp, that paired with the roasted soybeans made the chili crisp version fantastic. Overall this is great to have on stand-by for almost anything, I use it on rice, stir fry, eggs, and even breakfast burritos. But I would HIGHLY recommend the "Chili crisp" version, absolutely delicious!

Great value and good taste
Fantastic seller, item is top quality. The peanuts in one were a bit scarce and the other had more oil than chilies but the taste is consistent. The lids suck so they can leak. We store in the fridge with a paper towel underneath.

With chemicals unfit for human consumption and the taste of rotten fish
My review is based on my experience with supper last night. Two teaspoonfuls of this substance was applied to a beef stew, and literally destroyed the dish, which cost about the same amount, made from scratch, as this jar or horror. My wife is the chef, and she used to like this. I had no problems with the taste, and I trusted her with reading the ingredients, which was a mistake. I understand the preservatives, but I never knowingly consume MSG and soybean oil. The worst part is the fishy smell during cooking and the taste of rotten fish that stayed in my mouth after supper for most of the night. I even asked my wife, while she was cooking where she got fish, because I didn't know we had any. She said she was not cooking fish, but beef. The beef was leftover from another dish, and tasted fine until this abomination was added. Apart from the fishy odor during cooking, the persistent aftertaste compares well to oil gone bad. No clue about the expiration date, because it doesn't seem to have any, which comes as no surprise, considering the amount of preservatives in it. On second thought, the MSG may have caused some mild palpitation to me, too (as to another one-star commenter), but I didn't know what to think of it until I started reading the one-star recent reviews this morning. According to other one-star reviewers, the recipe has changed, and not for the better.

Can't get enough - goes well on nearly everything we have tried it with. Adds just the right amount of heat and spiciness.
