Unbelievable how clean press coffee can be with these bags!

As soon as these arrived we opened the package and tried them out. FAIL. Tried them in a couple of our French Presses and it was horrible.While it certainly was easier to clean out the grounds, the coffee was horrible. And we are talking really high grade coffee here - not Sanka.The coffee was so weak in color & taste that it looked like tea in the mug. Not worth drinking.Tried again, leaving brew twice as long as we usually do. Even after 10 minutes of brewing the coffee was not anything I’d want to drink.A waste of good coffee and a big waste of money.No instructions on packaging. Of course, making a pot of good coffee in the French Press is not hard, after 40 years of practice.I should get my money back - but after ripping open the package and using several I did not think Amazon would take them back. Now I’m determined to try for a refund instead of throwing them in the trash.

These pouches are of good quality and I have used them for both french pressed coffee and loose leaf teas. I prep my coffee and tea pouches once a week and store them in a small container. Makes it quick and easy in the morning.They are great for small batches of cold brew coffee as well though you'll need several pouches for a travel mug sized serving.They're easy to fill and close. I've yet to have one break on me. Absolutely makes clean up a total breeze.I imagine they could be used as a "bouquet garni" in soups and stews or even for small satchels of potpourri.Versatile and a good buy.

We bought a French press to go with us on camping trips. It made great coffee, but the cleanup wasn't so wonderful. These filters solved that problem, and I couldn't be happier.

The picture of the bag inside the French press is very misleading. The actual bag is so big I can fit my French press inside of it.

French press coffee is reported to raise cholesterol due to the coffee oils not being filtered out so I thought I'd try these. Not sure the material is absorbing any oils, as it is not the cottonish filter material I expected, but the real bonus is how easy it is to clean the French press after making coffee :-)

Love the full taste and freedom to take your coffee pot to your table or desk a French Press gives? But hate the pain in the rear they are to clean? Got your answer right here. Making a second batch was easy. These are great.
