830MP QuietFILL Platinum Toilet Fill Valve and Premium Large 3-Inch Flapper-Easy to Install-Made in USA

Ordered to replace the fill valves on several of our toilets. Instructions were very clear and it fixed the issue with the old valves (constantly running water). These are also a lot quieter than our previous valves.

The toilet was running unnecessarily when not in use, so figured the valve flapper was probably leaking due to old age. The pump and flapper are exactly as pictured. I do recommend measuring your existing flapper before install; initially thought we had the standard smaller size and was surprised to see it measured at 3 inches- be sure that the measure includes the arms on the flapper for total size. It is recommended to replace the pump and flap at the same time since they have about the same longevity, so this kit was perfect! I did watch the videos that the manufacturer provides links to in the instructions, and it really helped the process go smooth and quick. Overall it took about 30 minutes for me to install, which was largely due to having to make an adjustment for the fill level. My guess is a plumber can have it done in 10 minutes or less, but we saved money in this DIY kit and I was able to get it done and fix the leak. The fit was perfect, and the valve has an adjuster for the fill level. Overall this set appears very durable. Previously we had installed just the pump in a different toilet several years ago and it has worked so well that I was happy to see the manufacturer sells the pump along with the flapper in this kit. Great value, good quality.

Easy to install and works perfectly. I ordered another product prior to this one to fix a leaky toilet and the other product was not as user friendly as promoted. I decided to take a chance and order the Kirby and I’m happy with this purchase.

Following the instructions was quite easy. The flusher works rather well. I only had two major problems. 1. A piece of clear plastic tubing connects the adjustment valve to the flush valve from the factory. It leaked profusely when flushing. To fix this, I replaced it with a cutoff of the black rubber hose that came in the package (see picture). Thankfully, the hose it came with was a bit too long for my toilet anyway. A little extra work to get the product working like it should. 2. The adjustment valve thing only kind-of worked. It's supposed to balance the water flow to the bowl and the tank to prevent water from being wasted down the drain during a fill. It's only a 90deg ball valve so adjusting it is really tricky. Small turns make big changes to the flow and it is a small valve. In the end, I think I got it set okay, but it wasn't easy, and it took many flushes to get it right.

Easy to install. Helpful tip. use a ruler across the fill tube in the tank to determine the water level. This is better than eye balling it when adjusting the water level.

It is not as quite as it claims

This device is easy to install and works well. It's a perfect fit in a Gerber toilet. Little to no adjustment needed.

honestly i was just buying this for the stopper and not the valve, but im so happy i decided to get this kit. This isnt just a replacement it was an upgrade, best running toiler i've ever had now. worth every penny i highly recommended. 5 stars for sure.
