Dryer for Water in the Ears!
My gym has an indoor pool to use year round and I love to take a swim once per week to vary my workout routine. Then, one day, I got water in my ear and when I tried to drain it, I couldn’t get the water out! For the next 3 weeks, I was having a horrible time with trapped water in my ear. After purchasing a whole bunch of products to help my ear dry out, there was still that painful full, sloshing feeling along with a loud hissing and impaired hearing. It was extremely distracting and I was in this irritating situation for 3 whole weeks before I gave up and saw a doctor. I was desperate. Finally, I went to the Doc and after relieving the pressure in my ear, he told me to get this nifty little device. His wife is a swimmer and uses the Mack’s Ear Dryer as well as the Mack’s Ear Plugs, to keep her ears clean and safe. I ordered it that very night and when it came it really helped me to dry out a soggy and irritated ear. Dr. said to keep it in my gym bag and thoroughly dry my ears every time I went into the pool. From now on, I'll always have it handy whenever I swim. If I’d had it before I could have saved myself a few weeks of suffering! I tried swimmers ear drops, but that complicated my problem by adding still MORE liquid into my ear. I SO regretted adding to the problem because I felt so much worse when I did that. I also purchased one of those bulbs that you squeeze and it shoots air into your ear, but that product didn’t work for me. The difference in Mack’s Ear Dryer is that it directs a gentle, steady flow of HEATED air into the ear canal, effectively drying out the ear. It works exactly like a hair dryer, except tiny with minuscule nozzles that allow air to go directly where it needs to go. And because it is a gentle stream of air and not some kind of device, I’m not afraid of injuring my delicate ear canal! It is a comfortable, safe, and effective remedy! By the way, this company also has a cool set of aquatic earplugs that can help prevent this issue in the first place. I also got those and between the two of these items, I hope I’ll never get that nightmarish water-logged feeling again! Get the earplugs here: Macks Soft Flanged Aqua Block Earplug, Purple, 2 Pair

A Game-changer!
Wow, I have to shout out to Mack's Ear Dryer! This little gadget has truly been a lifesaver for me. As someone who loves water activities - whether it's swimming, surfing, or just a long, hot shower - I've always had to deal with the annoyance of water-logged ears. But those days are over now! I love how Mack's Ear Dryer uses warm, soothing air to naturally dry your ears. I didn't realize how much of a difference it would make, but it's just like night and day. No more fiddling around with cotton swabs or ear drying drops, which never seemed to work that well for me anyway. This ear dryer is just so fast and convenient! It dries my ears in about a minute, and it's super easy to use. You just press a button and let it do its magic. Plus, it's comfortable to use, and even my kids don't mind it. Another huge bonus is how compact it is. It folds up for easy storage and travel, so it's perfect for taking on vacations or water sports outings. No more worries about swimming or diving on vacation and then dealing with clogged ears for days. What really impresses me is the fact that this device was invented by an ENT doctor. It's comforting to know that it's designed to safely dry the ear canal where bacteria can potentially grow. That's a big win in my book! I'd recommend this to anyone who spends time in the water or uses hearing aids. It's a game-changer. Thanks to Mack's Ear Dryer, I can dive into all the water fun without any ear worries. It's definitely earned its 5 stars from me!

Better than nothing
I’ve been getting recurrent outer ear infections (of the canal, ie. Swimmer’s Ear) on my right side, presumably as that ear canal is narrow & curved, which traps water, plus I’m on immunosuppressant medications which make me more susceptible to infections. I’ve tried drying drops, but they cause irritation when used daily as alcohol dries out the skin. Plus I’ve tried other drops, like ones containing vinegar, but those are better suited to treat an early mild infection (or prevent one), and don’t address the root cause. My doctor recommended using a hair dryer after showering to aid in drying my ear canal, but that is loud and not very effective as you can’t get very close. So I tried this ear dryer. It’s very mild, such so that you would barely know it’s on if not for the fan noise (you can only feel air when it’s inserted in the ear, not when you hold your hand up to it), but it does help a bit. I usually need 2 cycles (of 85 seconds each, after which it automatically shuts off) to make any difference, and I use it after towel drying, then inserting my pinky finger into my ear wrapped in a Kleenex tissue. Pros: Provides some ear drying benefit. Quick. Easy to use (press button, insert in ear, wait for auto shut off). Not too loud. Doesn’t dry out the ear like drops do. No beep (like apparently some other models do). Folds in half to protect the ear piece. Doesn’t require a power outlet. Cons: Not super powerful (although that would likely be unsafe). Takes 4 AA batteries which I’ve read only provide about 50 cycles of power, and rechargeables aren’t recommended, so it will require a lot of batteries over time (expensive and bad for environment).

Using this after every surf and loving it. Absolute recommendation! Ever since we moved to the subtropics our daily surf sessions gave me repeated ear canal infections. I didn't have than in colder climates (don't get me wrong; I am not complaining about water, right.) Mack's Ear Dryer fixed this problem for me: surf, quick fresh water shower, blowing ears dry and done. Even when no fresh water at hand, never had an ear infection since blowing my ears dry. Still would love to see some improvements: For once, I feel Mack's Ear Dryer loves to munch away my batteries. Granted, heating air costs energy. Just wondering if an internal battery with a USB charger would be an option? Or at least USB backup power, f.e. of my powerbank, when the 3 AAA go flat on a trip. Other than the easy to solve energy problem, we would have loved the option of different settings. Low, mid and strong air flow and also low-mid-high heating. This would not just be a gimmick to play around; In my wife's smaller ear canals the air flow is good to rather intense, whereas in my larger dog ears it just barely is enough; would love the option to up the airflow by +50 or +100% percent. Despite these two points for improvement, Mack's Ear Dryer saved me from several infections and making my surf more joyful injustice. Thank you!

I get swimmers ear every time I’m in the water. This ear dryer prevents it better than any drops I’ve used. After a few minutes It has an auto shut off and the ear canal is completely dry. I like the warm sensation and the healing red light therapy especially since the area is sensitive due to so many ear infections.
