Caraway Non-Stick Ceramic Sauté Pan with Lid (4.5 qt, 12")

Our old Calaphon deep nonstick pan warped up. We needed a good deeper pan that was nonstick. I'm a researcher when I buy. Everything. After narrowing down to 3 pans - I pulled the trigger on these pans. It was actually a Christmas present to ourselves ( wife and I). First, it's packaged well. It's definitely got a bit of weight to it. The lid fits well and it's nice when cooking sausage or bacon instead of using our grease gaurd. A few important notes after using: You'll need more heat than you're probably used to. I cooked my kids pancakes in it. Typically, I set heat at 4-5. The first pancake took a long time to cook ( see the picture of light colored pancake). The second pancake I cranked heat to 8. Much better cooking time and better looking pancake ( I like crispy buttery edges on the pancakes). Pan heats evenly and lays flat on out glass cook top. My wife cooked eggs on it. First time...didn't turn out fluffy. Second time...upped the heat and much better eggs. So note...higher heat needed. You almost have to heat it like a cast iron pan. Cleaning is great! Rinse and soft sponge and it's clean. I've asked my wife never put in dishwasher. Many pans say they're dishwasher safe...I say it's the worse thing to do to pans. The nonstick is great. Very little butter or oil is needed. We have high grade stainless, expensive non- stick pans and griddles...this is definitely easy to cook with and much easier to clean. Oh...the nontoxic coating is a huge plus! (Blue looks great too!)

I just love this skillet. It’s non stick without any chemicals. I make stir fry, potstickers, sautéed vegetables, crispy potatoes, taco meat etc. in it. If anything starts to brown the bottom, I add a little water or broth. It’s so pretty and the lid is nice because it has a little hole for steam to escape. The pan and lid are a bit heavy so if you have wrist or hand issues you’ll need to be careful. It came very well packaged. It’s super easy to clean.

This has become one of my favorite pans. It is heavy-duty and evenly conducts heat very well!!! Non-stick and exceptionally easy to lean! Be nice to it and it should last a long, long time!!!

Excellent pan! The nonstick surface works very well. If residue happens to form that doesn't come off with a simple sponge and dish soap, all you need to do is add a bit of baking soda. That will provide the needed cleaning without damaging the surface. I love the size of this dish. It really allows for mixing of a full recipe to come together in a way that the frying pan size doesn't quite allow. The cover also fits on well and has a hole for steam to escape which is very helpful. Because it is metal, the handle can get hot down near the connection with the pan. That's worth it, of course, because it leaves you the option of baking with the whole pan. Overall this is a great value. If you care for it properly it will stay non-stick for a long time.

Amazing!!! I love this pan, non stick! Great for roasting up vegetables and eggs. Also supper cute and meets the aesthetic.

Absolutely amazing pan! It heats evenly, nothing sticks, and cleanup is effortless. The quality feels premium, and it’s become my favorite pan for everyday cooking. Highly recommend!

I hadnt realized that this was a TikTok advertised pan or I wouldnt have bought it. I looked up "safe pans " and this was one that had great reviews etc. This thing is heavy! Def seemed well made and sturdy. LOVE the color green that I picked and its def a really good size and has a top. I have babied this thing and I mean BABIED it....no sprays are used, I wipe it clean with a paper towel after it's cooled off, prior to washing. I also only use a sponge to wash it, no scraping and I only use either the wooden set that Caraway suggests or the silicone spatula or spoon. Everyone in the house knows that i am the only one to use and wash it lol. Does this give u an idea of how much I take care of it? Lol I've had it for a few months but noticed that it had some scrapes on it...how??? These are not cheap pans and I've most definitely taken care of them. (The pics have show butter in the pan) Glad I only bought one to try out and not the full set. Buyer beware bc these somehow chip too.

Pan is great for browning and searing, very easy clean up. Not excessively heavy which for people with arthritis is a plus. I would give it 5 stars but the website machinery for registering a warranty seems fundamentally broken. it puts you into a repetitive loop and never actually never seems to want to let you REGISTER THE WARRANTY, but rather sends you right back to the original screen it routed you to in order to get your information initially. For the price point, one really ought to be able to register the product. Not sure I'd want to order more of these pans and not have any recourse if there's a problem down the line.

It is not really nonstick when I cook. Otherwise it is a good size pan to use

Who doesn’t monitor their cooking, e.g eggs, sauces, onions etc…!!?? I have to constantly lift and peek letting out heat and dripping water. It’s a huge pain. I try to balance a clear lid from my old pan but it doesn’t quite fit. Otherwise I like the pan itself.

Bought this pan for my daughters birthday, she received it, opened the box and the handle is loose. No, it was not damaged in shipping (box does not have a dent in it), sounds more like pour quality control. Very disappointed, I will contact Caraway and voice my opinion personally. After Contacting Caraway, it was explained to me that this company is an unapproved re-seller. They are selling this pan at twice the price (Caraway is selling them at $145. My own fault for not being more diligent, lesson learned.
