    The health benefits of turmeric lie in the active ingredient called curcumin, which gives turmeric its therapeutic benefits, its yellow color, and its pungent flavor. Curcumin harbors antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, stomach-soothing, and liver-and heart-protecting effects.Take one capsule at a time, up to three per day. It also includes, beyond what you see in the pictures, is cellulose, gelatin capsule, silica and magnesium stearate.This was mentioned by a holistic health practitioner to help with some of my various concerns, and for just under one month I have to say I do feel better.  My attitude has improved, and there are improvements in other things.  I take this twice per day.As always, check with a DR or, more importantly, your pharmacist, as they work with drugs whereas DRs work with the body.
