ICE-70RFB Replacement Freezer Bowl, 2 quart, Gray

2nd Update: I love Amazon for their customer service. They are sending me a replacement, which will arrive tomorrow. Thanks Amazon Update: Finally had a chance to use this 2nd bowl. I pulled it out of our freezer and the bowl had cracked after freezing, not exactly what should have happened. Unfortunately, it is one week past return date. This should not have happened and I will contact Amazon for a solution. We purchased this as a second bowl for freezing when we make ice cream. We bought this right after we made our first batch of ice cream in our new ice cream maker. This is exactly the same as the original freezer bowl, brand, and size, that came with our machine. It is very convenient having the second bowl in the freezer and ready for a new batch.

This definitely works for homemade ice cream

I love the ice cream maker, We make a lot of ice cream and especially sorbet. It was time to add a second freezer bowl!

Bought this so we could make back to back batches of ice cream with our new ice cream maker- great choice! We always keep them in the freezer so we can make it anytime. This picture is of it frozen and ready to make ice cream. Totally recommend getting a second one so that you can have more than one flavor to make when your in the mood to make some. Works great and really helps ice cream come out perfect quickly. Buy one!!

This is really necessary to prepare two flavors at the same time.

Bought this as we like to make a lot of ice cream. I figured having a second bowl would be a great idea since my ice cream base is for 4 to 6 quarts. This bowl is exactly the same as the one that comes with the original product. Freezes well and works great. If you make larger batches of ice cream, I recommend getting the extra bowl. A bit on the pricey side but worth it so you can have 4 quarts of good ice cream.

I ordered a replacement bowl at the same time as ordering the machine. I wanted 2 bowls to be able to make multiple ice creams. I love that I don’t have to have ice & rock salt on hand. I just leave them both in the freezer so I can make ice cream anytime. When you wash it after using, don’t dry the inside. It continues to freeze & your towel residue will stick to the inside. I just dry the outside and then put it back into the freezer. This also cuts down in the bowl freezing time (12-24hrs) so you could make an additional flavor sooner.

I am using this second freezer bowl so I can do 2 batches in quick succession. My family really loves the ice cream I make with the Cuisinart unit (I enjoy it myself too!) so I often want to make two batches quickly. This second freezer bowl does the trick. Freezes well just like the first one. Boy do I like not having to mess around with ice!!!
