Great product and well made. Extremely sturdy and easy to set up. Install the 4 rubber pads on the bottom and you’re ready to install your roll. Does not deserve a two star review. You buy the 18” because you need the 18”. SMH! I bought a 200’ roll and it can easily accept twice that. Installing the roll is super easy and it cuts the paper with precision. I definitely recommend!

I use this paper roll cutter with butcher paper for sublimation and it has all of the qualities I was looking for. It’s sturdy, feels like it will last years, holds small rolls as well as the 1000-foot rolls from Sam’s Club, and comes with non-slip feet for stabilizing on a work surface. I had previously ordered a more expensive cutter from a different brand and it left my butcher paper absolutely shredded along the edges. This cutter gives me nice clean tears every time. This cutter arrives assembled. All you have to do it open it up to lock into place and install the non-slip feet if you plan to use it on a counter or tabletop. If you plan to mount this on a wall, I would recommend taking into consideration what size roll you plan to use with this. If you’re using extra-large rolls, it will likely be too heavy to hang safely. Installing the paper roll onto the dowel and into the cutter is easy with a smaller roll. I first installed a 100-foot roll of butcher paper and was easily able to do it myself. However, when installing the 1000-foot roll, it was so much heavier that I did require a second person’s help. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to use this dispenser for extra-large rolls. The “cutting blade” on this dispenser isn’t actually sharp. It’s not serrated at all and initially I had some concerns that it wouldn’t be able to give me clean cuts. Fortunately, it’s super easy to use and gives really crisp tears. I’ve attached a photo of a torn edge. It’s superior in every way when compared to serrated edge cuts that can risk leaving an imprint on sublimation blanks. The one thing to note is that it isn’t the easiest to use with a single hand. It can be done, but it’s easier if you have a palm to stabilize the roll while tearing with the other hand. Overall, I would highly recommend this paper roll cutter to anyone looking for one, especially those that are looking for a butcher paper cutter for sublimation. It’s the best option that I have seen or used.

Cant go wrong with Bulman. I’ve been around their products, including the paper cutters like this one, since I was a kid working in the meat industry back in the 90s. Works perfect. Great price. My Hint as a butcher to you: set the paper to tear from the BOTTOM and then Pull STRAIGHT UP to tear off the paper. If you’re too flat when you pull, ANY brand of cutter won’t tear well. It ain’t the cutter. YOUR WELCOME!

I have been using scissors to cut my butcher paper for sublimation for about a year and it is a little tedious. I have really wanted something like this and finally decided to invest in a paper roll holder/cutter. This one was reasonable priced so I went for it. The directions were very easy to follow and they had a way to either set it on a table or attach it to something. I chose table top. The little plastic pieces you attach to the bottom for the table top method where a con for me as I could not get them to stick in place and they just popped out no matter how hard I tried to get them in place. I attached a video of the paper cutting. It works ok but as you can tell you have to go slowly and meticulous with the paper so it cut smoothly. Once you get the rhythm it is fine I just had a little learning curve there to get the right feel. Not too fast or to slow and the right pressure. I store mine in my cabinet and I found that I can easily pull the paper right from there without having to pull it out and set it on a table. I find this very convenient since it really isn't too big. It's a nice size and so far is working very well.

Makes putting up meat for the freezer a bit easier. Not heavy but substantial enough to do the job and light enough to live on top of the refrigerator

I bought this because it seemed sturdy and some said this is the one butchers' use. well I must say for what looks like a rickety powder coated mild steel contraption it actually has never failed to work and tear my pink butcher paper flawlessly. And it is very sturdy when on the table and being used. simply pull out the amount of paper you want and tear straight up and voila perfectly cut paper. I took 1 star away because of price.

Mine shipped with only 3 of 4 rubber counter stops on the bottom. Other then that work great..
