If you add a wooden handle to the appachatti, it would be even more convenient to use. The wooden handle provides a comfortable grip and prevents burns when handling the hot pan. It also adds an aesthetic appeal to the cookware. Overall, the appachatti is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile and durable cookware that can be used for a variety of dishes. After trying so many other nonstick I used to wonder why Aapam doesn’t turn out to be Aapam for me. Finally I decided to try this Aapam chatty and I honestly say that this one is wonderful, does the job really well and my aapam turned out really well like how Aapam should be. Am very happy that I purchased the right product. Few things to note though are: Before first use clean it with mild soap and then season it and discard the first sautéed onions or any items. Seasoning it properly the first time and properly maintaining this cast iron vessel is important and I assure that’s not a hard task.

Look wise ok but small size. But not yet used. Can be reviewed about the quality, once we start using it.

Don't even think about buying this. I am regretting about the blunder I did by choosing this. I spent 1099/- for this crap!!! I am to be blamed as I was influenced by the reviews people wrote just by looking at this pan. None of the reviews are added after using it, but mine is. I applied oil for a week to tame the pan, and then tried using it twice. Appam doesn't come off at all. My normal old iron pan is much better than this. Worth to mention, the black colour bleeds by wash/oil and it doesn't look the same any more. So, apparently, this is now just another utensil that is of no use, lying at home.
