I ordered multiple aquarium plants from these guys recently and I’m very happy with the results! What showed up on my doorstep, a couple days early btw, were beautiful , healthy plants of actually good size. They are perking up and looking great in my aquarium I’m setting up. Of note I did receive one Anubius that had expired. I took pics and sent a message to SS. Within a couple hours they responded and are sending me a replacement Anubius to replace the one that went to plant Heaven. So to end this Substrate Source provides great product and amazing customer service. I will be buying more in the future. Highly recommended!

Came early. Very healthy and green. It was very warm and moist inside the package. Shape is so beautiful on this Java fern! I’m not sure of the growth rate on these yet but I’m about to get a full spectrum light today from Amazon and that should help my plants grow faster. I also use liquid plant food for them. I used aquarium glue from Amazon to put the ferns on a rock I found and rinsed well. So far the ferns seem to be doing well! Well worth what you pay for them.

Quick shipping and great packaging. It came to me in an insulted box with a heat pack, it survived winter in South Dakota with all green leaves. The packaging was also totally recyclable and reusable, which is something I appreciate. Perfect for aquascaping whether you're just getting into it or if you have been around for a while. Higher quality than any of my local stores. I was able to split the fern into three smaller plants for two different tanks. Really happy with the quality, will definitely be purchasing again.

I’ve had the fern for a couple days now! It’s settling in well! It came in great shape and my betta loves it. I just switched to live plants and I will definitely be buying from this seller again! (I accidentally kicked up my substrate fixing a couple plants that’s why it’s a lil brown and foggy)
