If Pro-Ex "Extra Strength" Clotrimazole 1% Antifungal Cream doesn't kill the fungus adequately, then try Miconazole Nitrate 2% Antifungal Cream, which Amazon sells for a slightly higher price than clotrimazole. While you are waiting for the miconazole to arrive in your mail box, try soaking your fungus in vinegar for 30 minutes. Also try eating at least 100 shiitake mushrooms over a 3-day period or soaking the parts of your body infected by your fungus in "mushroom water" for 30 minutes. [Different species of fungi don't like each other and will try to kill each other for territorial control]. People who occasionally eat any species of mushrooms have 20% less heart disease, 20% less bone fractures, 60% less cancer, and stronger immune systems than people who almost never eat mushrooms. Before you order anything, however, make sure that you have followed the instructions for clotrimazole. The most common reason why clotrimazole fails to work is failure to keep applying it 2, 3, or even 4 times per day over the affected area as instructed. If you applied it only once every 2 days, then you might be shocked when the fungus comes back and blame it on the clotrimazole. If everything fails, then see your doctor (dermatologist) for anti-fungal drugs that require a prescription.
