VISCATA Sitges - Navy Blue EU42

It truly fits me great with no issues. Definitely a well made shoe. Would definitely buy again.

Personally disappointed due to the difference in colors of the soles. The advertised pictures make them look a little more orange/ brown, but see my attached photo for the true colors, which is more of an off-white. The canvas and stitching inside are also not comfortable if you go bare foot (which is how you should be wearing espadrilles anyway). Other than that, the fit is just right, and the sole is comfortable enough for a short walk, say less than 3 miles. Anything further and the soles of my feet start to hurt.

I chose the Sitges Espadrille over the Barcelona for three reasons: 1. It's cheaper. I never owned an espadrille and, not knowing how long it might last, didn't want to "invest" too much. I shouldn't have worried; it's obviously a well made product and I expect the Barcelona is too. 2. Since these are made for sock-free wear, I thought I'd enjoy the jute footbed rather than a leather lining. So far, I believe I guessed right. 3. The gusset on the Barcelona seems a tad too busy. A matter of taste, of course, but why mess with a classic design? As for fit, I'm normally an 8 & 1/2 EE or a 9 Medium. I bought the US 9 or Euro 42. The fit is perfect for me right out of the box. I wore the shoe for several hours and it's still perfect. No unwanted stretching. If you think you might like this shoe, then don't hesitate. It's met or exceeded my expectations.

It hurts the feet after whole day use. And is impossible to wear barefoot because of the rough bottom.

Espadrilles are very comfortable. Excellent choice for summer.

They fit as expected and are fun to wear.
