An essential for every home
I am a firm believer in home fire safety, this brand is fitted for vulnerable people by my local fire service which is why I chose it, I have had these before they are so simple to fit and last for ages, I like the one with the light as it helps you get your bearings in thick black smoke. I would recommend, they are an excellent price, offer great peace of mind are arrive very quickly.

Well made
Seem very well made and trust they work. I got these for the kitchen and lounge which has a wood burner as normal smoke alarms go off. These don't as they detect heat.

Easy to install. Haven't had a fire or heat to the point of making it go off but trusting it will work if needed. The test button did sound the alarm (the test performs a softer than normal alarm sound according to the instructions. So unless using heat to make it go off it would be hard to know how loud it actually is in a fire). I like the maintenance free for 10 years. In 10 years replace it with whatever new tech is out in a decade.
