## Description

Planting Instructions: Potatoes need full sun and must have well-drained, moisture-retentive, fertile soil that is high in organic matter and PH between 5.0 and 6.0. Do not use lime soil, the soil needs to be slightly acidic. To maximize your crop, keep potatoes well-watered throughout the summer, but especially during the period when they are in flower and immediately thereafter. Watering early in the day, allows foliage to dry completely before the evening. If you do not have the space to dig a large trench, some creative gardeners have used garbage cans or four old tires to grow potatoes with great success. To prevent disease problems, do not plant potatoes in the same bed as tomatoes. Potatoes need to be rotated on a 3-year program. This means you need 3 suitable sites if you want to grow potatoes each year.

    One sprout out of 6 seed potatoes

I received 6 potatoes , out of the 6 potatoes 4 of them were rotten inside when I cut them  to prepare for planting. The other 2 potatoes were not completely rotten inside, I did get one live sprout. These were the worst "seed" potatoes, they were not good for much of anything.
