Does the job. Save me money fixing my hose instead of throwing them away. I really need to stop mowing my hose - but this saves me.

Good quality and something every homeowner should have.

Although the kit is a great product the screwworm clamps need to be one size bigger and better in quality... several of the clamps are cheaply made and get jammed and or the screw fails to hold. These clamps would be better if they were one size bigger... you need to account for the thickness of the hose material you are repairing. In this case it was a struggle to get the screwworm clamp to open up big enough to fit over the hose and not come apart. when you back off the screw as far as it will go without coming apart when you go to screw it down the tape jams against the screw head.

I recently used this connector with 5/8” soaker hose. Initially, I found it extremely difficult/impossible to push the hose onto the connector. But with a few tricks it became relatively easy. First I ground the end of a piece of wood/stick into cone shape. Second, I put a little oil on that cone shaped wood/stick. Third, I jammed the wood into the end of the soaker hose to expand/enlarge it slightly. Fourth, I wound teflon tape onto the connector (primarily to help seal the connection). Then I was able to easily push the hose onto the connector. The hose clamps provided withe the connectors got some poor quality reviews. Therefore, to be safe, I purchased extra (higher quality?.) steel hose clamps and used two additional clamps rather just the two hose clamps provided at each connection (Thus, I used a total of four clamps at each connection). Everything seems to be working.

I bought these to repair a leak in the hose and not spend extra money on buying a new water hose. The connectors worked great. However, the clamps are not that good. The clamps do not tighten enough and, therefore, don't place enough pressure to stop the leak. It did minimize it, but it did not stop it completely. If the clamps were of better quality, I would give this 5 stars.

Easy to install, yet don't get carried away on the tightening. Risk of cutting hose. Overall great product easy to slide into hose and cinch down with clamps provided.

Nope. Leaks like crazy. A lot smaller than a regular garden hose so no tight fit. Even if you tighten the rings to the max. Does not work unless you spend more money and use additional stuff and plumbing materials… which means in of itself… no good.
