How does it work without electricity?

It works based on water pressure from the water supply line. The mechanics are all pneumatic. I've bought 4. 2 for my house and 2 as gifts. Water supply line to the bidet, then bypass like to the toilet unit. Take 5 min to install. Once you use it, you won't go back.

But ignorant, but how do you dry afterwards?

My wife uses a clean rag but honestly there's nothing to clean up. Th bidet works that good. As a guy I don't dry off fter a year of "nothing there" It works great! No toilet paper for 9 months.
