How well does the command strips hold?

is this the measuring rod only or does it include the sliding headpiece as pictured?

I have the Seca 216 and it does come with the sliding headpiece.

Does the headpiece fold down when not in use?

No it does not. It can't. It slides up and down and there is a tightening knob on the side to hold it in place. Our techs always lift it up after the patient steps away so that they don't hit it with their head or shoulders.
