Review: Engaging. Fun to play, pleasure to see/feel - Great game. We're relatively new to gaming (pretty much just Settlers of Catan before). We really like it. This is a bit complex, it requires attention--they are many choices of where to invest your resources (degrees of freedom), so multiple viable strategies are possible. Random behavior (eg, picking tiles from a bag) is limited, which I like in a game (can you go GO?) The board is pretty. it's well made. Bit of a table hog. First game, as total newbs, took four hours. Half a year and a four games later we're down to about 1 1/2 hours per game.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the base game required to play Azul: Queen's Garden?**
A: No, every different version of Azul is an entirely independent game. You don't need to have the original to play any of the others. 😊

**Q: Anybody Colorblind successfully played this game? Please and thank you**
A: I am colorblind and have played other Azuls. Not specifically this one and never had a problem. There are different symbols on each color that you can use instead of purely color. Not sure if that holds true for this obe but has been in every other version.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Azul Game
*by A***E on October 5, 2024*

As a fan of the Azul games, this is by far my favorite. This is a tile placing game that uses patterns and colors in order to score and create a beautiful garden. If you've played the base game of Azul before, you will pick up the rules easily. If the Azul games are new to you, it might take a youtube video or two to learn. It's not a difficult game to teach or learn. Once you know how to play, it's simple to teach and retain. While it can be fun and easy to play, I'd suggest an age minimum of 10. The game takes maybe 30 minutes for two players and about minutes for 4 players. Several rounds make for a great night. Max is 4 players. I've tried adding another game to get up to 7 players but it doesn't work at all. Like all the Azul games, this game is made of good quality paper for the boards. The hexagon tiles are bright, bold, and beautiful. All in all for the money, I've gotten my values worth and more with how many times I've played this. 10/10.
