I like it way better than my old husky rechargable headlamp
Super bright wide beam perfect for my hard hat working at night . Battery seems to last a good bit also . Price could be a little cheaper but happy with the quality

This is a solid product for a great price
I have the Wuben L50 flashlight as an everyday carry tool. It is rugged and fits my needs perfectly. When it came time to buy a headlight, I checked out the Wuben H1. I looked at some reviews on Youtube and read the reviews here. Nothing adverse stood out so I pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did. This light is rugged yet light weight and comfortable. It is easy to use and contains the same battery as my L50. It uses an 18650 Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. However this battery is just slightly longer than a standard 18650 because it contains protection circuitry. I also purchased a Victagen universal intelligent battery charger with two 3200 mAhr batteries. These batteries fit in the headlight and work perfectly. However I wouldn't charge them in the headlight since they do not have the protection circuit incorporated into the battery like the ones that came with the Wuben H1. I like everything about this lamp and it only costs $25. I had my wife try it on and she immediately realized it would be a perfect reading light. So I'm ordering a second one today. Everyone in the family should have one of these for emergency situations.

Great comfortable rechargeable headlamp for active use.
I purchased this headlamp to look for a better solution for running in the early mornings. I was previously using a Wuben E7 with the headband strap for my early morning runs and while the E7 is really bright, it is a heavier than the H1 Pro and the single headband strap and geometry of the bracket simply made it not as stable for running. This is not a fault of the E7 as I view it as more of an EDC light that I can place in a headlamp band vs a dedicated headlamp. So this review will be focused on my usage and how well it meets my needs for running about 1.5 hours in the early morning. I will point out a few things I noticed that could be improved, but they did not detract from my usage. Headband Comfort: This headlamp is very comfortable, the included band with the additional overhead strap keeps the light secure on your head. In addition the footprint of the lamp is nice and wide, which distributes the pressure over a larger area which adds to the comfort and stability. The headlamp is significantly lighter at 102g for the H1Pro (with battery) vs 128g for the E7 (with battery) plus the weight is kept much closer to your head. Bottom line is that I had no issues with this lamp moving even while running. The H1Pro headband allows you to aim the light basically however you want from straight down all the way to straight up. There are no detents holding it at a certain angle, but I did not have any issues with it moving during use. It is easy to adjust while wearing the headlamp. The headband for the E7 does not allow this much adjustment. Light output: So the E7 is rated at a higher output on Turbo vs the H1 Pro, 1800 vs 1200, but while running I never need that much light. The main beam goes from moonlight at 1 lumen up to 1200 lumen. For my running needs I am typically either at low (80lm) or medium (400lm), which is plenty bright. In fact I had the light aimed further out on medium and I had cars flashing their high beams at me. Plus with other runners I have to be conscientious of not blinding them, which is where being able to aim the H1Pro further down comes in. The white auxiliary light of the H1Pro is great for reading as it's light is much warmer so easier on the eyes vs the main beam and is at a perfect brightness for close up tasks. The red auxiliary light of the H1 Pro is very handy if you need to retain your night vision while looking at maps, ideally black and white print as colors will obviously be washed out with red light. The red light can also be set for flashing which is good for other people to see you when you do not necessarily need more light to see. I use this at the end of my run as the sun begins to rise. I have not needed the strobe, SOS or beacon but they are there on the main beam and the strobe is very noticeable. Battery life: The battery life of the H1Pro is decent. With all of these when you are on "Turbo" that brightness is only maintained for a short time so I simply ignore those ratings. At least according to the manual at 400lm the H1pro will last 2.6 hours. This is plenty for me and actually longer than the E7 at 400lm only rated for 1.7 hours. One big caveat here though is that the E7 does come with a tube extender that lets you put a bigger battery for longer run times but this obviously makes it much heavier. Charging: According to the manual and literature the H1Pro can fast charge at 5V/2A. I ran the light down until it was empty and monitored the charge current with multiple USB power supplies all rated for more than 5V/2A and never saw the H1Pro draw more than 5V/1A. This was with their supplied USB-A to USB-C cable and my own USB-C to USB-C cable rated at 5A. I have asked Wuben about this and will update the review when/if I get an answer. I do not view this as a big issue as it really does not impact how I use it, but did want to mention it. Additional miscellaneous findings: -The H1 Pro will allow you to turn it on while it is being charged, but only at what appears to be low on the main beam. No other settings or auxiliary would work. However I did not test what happens if you are already in some other setting and then plug it in. I may update this later. -The blue light on the auxiliary beam is only for indicating charge or what they call breathing mode. Breathing mode has the blue light fade in and out slowly with a very short duty cycle. In this mode the battery is rated to last for up to 100 days. I am guessing this is to allow you to find the light in complete darkness. So if you know this will happen, turn on breathing mode. The H1 Pro does not state it can be used as a battery pack for reverse charging to say charge your cellphone in the case of an emergency. The E7 does. I did not test this to see. If it does, I will update this review.

Solid Headlamp!
This Wuben H1 headlamp is incredibly solid and well-built. I wanted something that was both affordable and high-quality, and this fits the bill perfectly. I use it for a variety of tasks, from household chores to working in the backyard. If you’re considering this headlamp, don’t hesitate—go for it! You won’t be disappointed. I appreciate the Type-C charging port, and the moment you hold it, you can feel its durability and quality. One of its best features is the head strap with an additional top strap, providing excellent stability for extended use. And Wuben stands behind their products! Additionally, learning to use the light selector button was incredibly simple. It features a single, firm button that controls the different light modes, and within a minute, I was able to adjust it with ease. I will buy more Wuben lights in the future

Not suitable for heavy duty.
It is good, but the quality of the support is not adequate, it breaks easily, d It is good, but the quality of the holder holding the lamp and the strap is not suitable, it breaks easily.

OMG! SO IMPRESSED
In the past 4 months I have become a complete flashlight addict! I have taken up night hiking and am committed to finding the best lights for my 2 hours trips into the woods. My main goal is to find lights that will hold 1000 lumens for 2 hours without any step down. I use 3 at a time so I get a large dome of light that surrounds me and helps me see every nuance in the trail so I dont trip. It gives me complete depth perception as well. This is the second WUBEN light that I have purchased recently. (I bought a C3 flashlight last week and was so blown away by the quality and value of it that I figured I had better try one of their headlamps!) The quality is amazing and the (really) unbelievable price made it a no bbrainer to me. Well.......I just finished a 2 hour and 15 minute hike and could not belive that the headlamp was STILL cranking on high! I brought it inside to check it with my lumen meter set up (yes......I HAVE a lumen meter......LOL) It was still going strong at 1200 lumens! Very little heat generation either! Same things I found with the C3 - their EDC/Tactical 18650 light. Anyway......I am SOLD on these guys and will be buying more of their products without a doubt!

This is the headlamp to buy. Good battery life. USB C. High CRI AUX and red AUX. Simple to use.
I have had a NiteCore HC65M for my ballistic and bump helmets for a couple of years. It works great and I always figured I would buy either an HC65 head strap lamp or a Wuben H1 for everyday use. The first version HC65M I have is good for it's intended environment but a little too bright on auxiliaries to those around me for everyday work and camping use. The Wuben H1 is perfect. It's not too bright on the auxiliary lights for those around me but bright enough for me. The main light really gets the job done. I typically use the second setting from the lowest. I haven't needed a larger battery but when this battery wears out, I plan on purchasing a larger amp hour battery for it. The HC65M and others of this design will run also off of two CR123 batteries. I assume the Wuben H1 will do so as well but I haven't tested it yet. If you want a solid head lamp with good auxiliary red and high CRI auxiliary white, the Wuben H1 is the headlamp for you. (You NEED a high CRI AUX white light for first aid.) Everyone who has seen this light in action on me has purchased one for themselves. I cannot think of a more perfect light for everyday use at this price point than the Wuben H1. This is the only headlamp I recommend to others for everyday use. For helmet (NVG) mount, the NiteCore HC65M (the new version has two auxiliary red light levels) is the way. Wuben... It would be awesome if future versions of this light would work whilst charging. That way, an extended battery pack can be used.

Bright and built like a tank
This light screams quality. It has got to be the best bam for the buck headlamp I've seen. I had another competing brand that cost around the same price even, maybe even a bit more. This headlamp is Very powerful and does exactly what I hoped it would, shine bright in a spot with a wide beam to light up the general area. The interface is a bit hard to get at first but it basically boils down too, unlock with 4 light blinks twice, lock with 4 it blinks once, click then hold to cycle through the levels and then click to turn off and on said level. Pros: build quality(all aluminum) USB C Bright! Saves last mode Large capacity Warranty Battery removable Cons: Interface instructions are a bit bad Button a bit mushy, might wear trough eventually
