Core Standards for Math Grade 5: Common Core

This is an open-and-go workbook - it teaches on the page, and the student writes in the book. It is a very clear, well organized walk through each of the concepts in the Common Core math standards. The table of contents works well as a checklist. Each lesson is labeled with the content standard and standard name. The full text of the standards is included in the back of the book. There is also a full answer key. I would recommend this for anyone who is homeschooling and looking for a concise guide to 5th grade Common Core math. There are not a lot of problems for each concept - just a few - so if the student needs more practice in one area, you will have to find that elsewhere. But this workbook will make it very easy to find those areas and know exactly what to work on.

Love the format, it's divided into short lessons, and each lesson is started with 1/2 or 3/4 page example/explanation, then followed with 5 or practice questions on the concept, perfect for summer review or preview for next school year.

Hi bought this to help my granddaughter advance in her Math…it is a decent book and does lean toward the common core standards but too advanced for my 11 year, but it does have an answer key in the back.

Don't trust the education gulag! Use these daily exercises to monitor your child's progress. The book is aligned to the common core standards which are followed by 90% of school districts. This means that if your child can't do this than something's wrong.

Book was in perfect condition, time of delivery was exact and it is one of the best books for reinforce the knowledge acquired at school.

We will use this for extra practice when school starts in the fall. I love the step by step examples in the book.
