Works great. Clear. In an emergency a radio can be lifesaving.
I live in Rural NY and this radio is great. What is the SW for? WB is for weather band??

Seems to be a fine little radio.
While you won't get everything for this price you already knew that. I forsook the cranks and solar panels of the other radios in the hope that my money would buy me a good - sounding small radio. This is a good- sounding radio. No cool looking preset buttons. Who even needs that though? This radio is as simple as it gets, and that's great. The speaker seems to measure 2 3/4". I was hoping for 3" but like I said, it sounds pretty darn good for a cheap radio. A very long antenna; gets more FM stations than my car radio. The 'flashlight' will get you down the hall at night, you could read a map with it . That's not why I bought it. I bought it for the FM and NOAA bands. I find the AC plug in and the 3D size battery combo more practical than the recharging mode of so many other radios. Let's not forget about the headphone jack! It sounds marvelous in there! Get some headphones! I'm gonna be very happy with this little guy.

Nice Radio
Its a fairly decent radio. Sound quality is good which includes AM, FM and Weather Channels. I have not been able to receive any "short wave" channels. Kind of disappointed in that respect.

NOAA weather radio is a good bargain
This is a simple, well-designed NOAA weather radio that is quite nice for the price. A variety of stations are easily tuned in and the sound quality is good unless you crank the volume to max (why would you?) when it gets a bit tinny. Have not experienced an emergency situation yet but if/when I do, will learn how well this performs in those circumstances.

Very Portable and Compact
Reception is great and so is the sound quality. I like that it is a simple radio that I can take with me out to the garage and doesn't take up too much space.

Do not purchase a Prunus J 15 weather radio!!
This Prunus J 15 weather radio is useless!!! The only thing on it that works is the flashlight built into it! Nothing else works! Manufacturer refused to replace it! I received it from Amazon 12/31/24 and did not open it until the severe weather threat 3/15/25. It is dead. Nothing works but the flashlight! It is past Amazon return period and mfgr. will not replace it! I rated one star only because I had to select a star rating to post this!
