GREAT PRODUCT
This is a great product for the money, very easy to connect and works great. Would highly recommend this product. It reads voltage and frequency .and has a built in light easy to read!!

BEST YOU CAN GET!!!
This is the BEST AC voltage/frequency meter you can buy on Amazon. Well-engineered, easy to hook up - just two wires to the source (120VAC) and TREMENDOUSLY ACCURATE - Great Calibration - Right on the nose! Matches my expensive 0.1% accurate Fluke True-RMS multimeter! Remember, this is an Average-Responding RMS-Calibrated AC Voltmeter so it will be dead accurate on sinewave (sinusoidal) waveforms like from your power company. But, it may be a couple of percent Inaccurate when measuring AC voltages from inverters (square-wave output) or generators and UPS backups (chopped or distorted sinewave output). Overall, great value for the price!

Perfect
This is perfect for what I wanted it for. I work on Generators every once in a while and it is nice to know that everything is working properly and this is exactly what I was looking for. I put a cord on it and now I just plug it in and it gives me a reading. I will add a very clear reading. Can see it without any problem. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks

use it to monitor generator output.
After reading the reviews I purchased this meter to monitor my older Honda generator output. As noted in other reviews, I had to build/adapt a comm box to house the meter & electrical connectors. Now I can plug this meter into a spider box and monitor the generator output from my living room. (yes, I'm on Southern California Edison, so we lose power regularly during the summer.)

Great Meter
I got this to measure the frequency of my standby generator. I live on a ranch and the power is always going out. I found that my generator has a frequency of around 60.5 hz when lightly loaded and around 59 hz at full load. I find this very reassuring. I hooked the meter up when I had commercial power and it was rock steady on 60.0 hz. Good calibration check.

Good monitor meter for generator
I use it to monitor my portable AC generator. Good accuracy for the cost, not a Fluke but GE ( good enough).

Frequency readout is not useful
Installed this on a generator because I wanted to see voltage and frequency. The voltage part is pretty accurate, but the frequency part usually reads "1" instead of the actual frequency. It will sometimes display the frequency, but not for long. Buy one that is better quality than this.

Voltage not accurate on Pure Sign inverter
I bought this specifically for the frequency monitor - which works perfectly and revealed my 60Hz inverter was outputting 50Hz. This was later verified with another device - frequency measurement between the 2 meters was 0.2 Hz different - negligible at this price point.Unfortunately voltage measurement is off by 15 volts. Multiple other meters report 115 - 117v. This meter reports 98 to 100v.I have not tried the meter on mains power - only connected to a supposedly pure sine wave inverter. Inverter works well and shows no signs of poor output - though admittedly I have not put an oscilloscope on it to confirm the output waveform. Devices attached to the inverter sound much like they do on mains power - as opposed to the buzzing they give off when on a modified sine wave inverter.I believe either this meter is not tolerant of anything but a true sine wave (pure sine wave inverters are still chopped to some degree - especially less expensive ones) or the one I have is defective / poor tolerance.
