Great stuff, easy to make and tastes good too (but a bit expensive)
Firstly, this is not a shake. A couple of reviews mention drinking this, which is not what you do! (Think more like porridge) Its extremely easy to make, just chuck a scoop in a bowl with some boiling water and mix. It will be smooth in no time! It's not the tastiest thing ever, but it's not bad at all and goes down a treat. I've tried Golden Syrup and Toffee Biscuit and I'd prefer Toffee Biscuit but either are good if you need to pack on some calories, the flavouring is very subtle!

Way too artificial with a disgusting aftertaste
I really wanted to like this. I'm a snacker and I LOVE all things biscoff, so I bought this with the hopes of it satisfying my snack cravings at far fewer calories. For me, this falls very far from tree 1. Unappealing grainy texture 2. Horrible taste 3. Terrible lingering aftertaste The value for money is great, it smells OK and it's a huge tub that'll last ages, but after two attempts... It's going in the bin so value means nothing at that point. Other flavours might be better but I'd recommend you avoid this caramelised biscuit one. The chemical/artificial taste is too much to overlook.

Good overall
I haven't tried cream of rice before so maybe I can't really have a balanced opinion. I purchased the toffee biscuit flavour. The powder mixes very well and easily in hot water. It has a very mild flavour - if you're expecting it to have a very strong taste this isn't it. I like it this way to be honest, just add a bit of cinnamon and it tastes great!

Excellent
As a competitive bodybuilder I get through a lot of cream of rice. Mix 50/50 with plain otherwise it can taste too strong. I mix 70/40 flavour/plain for perfect taste with 4x amount of warm water. Then boil on stove while stirring. No bits or lumps. Keep mixing and it will start to thicken. Easy. Great taste and smell. (I prefer mine on the thicker side so leave it longer on the stove)

Chemical taste and grainy
First time trying this item, liked the idea that it was low in sugar but sadly I have to say I am not a fan of this, it did mix well, I used 100mls hot water from the kettle and mixed it in, left it for a minute or so, I thought it has a weird smell, not use to the product so put it down to the flavouring, went in for the taste test, did not like the taste due to the grainy texture and overall flavour. Sadly I have to decide if I will bin it or struggle through and see if I can find something to pair it with, oh btw it looks like baby food on its own. Updated - 21.05.23, I have decided to post an update on this product, I decided to keep the product and thought I would try it again, this time I made it with 60g and around 350mls cold water, I placed this in the microwave for 2 minutes, I came out all thick at the bottom of the bowl and the water was on top, I thought here we go again, I decided I would just persevere so I started to stir it and mix the water in, after a minute or so it mixed a bit better and looked a bit more like semolina, I was still unsure about the taste (toffee biscuit) so I added in some pitted prunes with a bit of the juice, this made it taste better. I am going to play around with the mixing and water levels to find the consistency that I would like and I will add some fillings to help me get use to the taste, it’s still a bit grainy though but at least the second time was better. I have changed my star rating from 2 to 3 now.

Absolutely vulgar – went straight in the bin
I have to say, I was not impressed by this at all. I was expecting a decent toffee biscuit flavour, but the taste is absolutely vulgar. It’s so artificial it’s like eating chemicals - honestly, it’s that bad. Even the smell was vile as soon as I opened it. I managed one spoon of it and the rest of the pack went straight in the bin. It’s a shame because value for money wise it would be quite good if it wasn't so horrible, but I just couldn't get past the flavour or the scent. I definitely wouldn't recommend this one.

My new favourite
Mixed well with protein powder and the mild flavour is good but not too over powering. I did find this smoother than another cheaper brand and it digests well. Will be buying again

very bland flavour - Toffee Biscuit
As a mens physique competitor this flavour is very bland and can hardly taste the toffee biscuit. You're best buying the complete strength brand and you'll thank me later.

I bought this to add some carbs pre-workout, the flavour is good but the texture is kind of like drywall compound. Not sure if all cream of rice is like. Overall this is not being eaten for pleasure but rather a purpose to get some carbs for my giant muscles. I would recommend it.

The product arrived today, I tried it and I can only say it’s a disaster. I think the people who rated this as excellent have never tried Cream of Rice. This is anything but a cream – it’s more like sand, and no matter how little water you add, it always ends up being too much. A complete waste of money.
