Sure you can. Just close the cap tightly and keep the bottle straight.

Does it work as eyebrow tinting? If so, how long does it last?

I have very long hair. How many would i need?

As Mr. Stearns suggested, get two boxes. My friend's hair goes midway down her back, and one box is plenty.(she uses a whole bottle even with shorter hair, but that's her) If you hair is so long it reaches your behind, be safe and get two boxes.

Does the color eventually fade completely without any residue of color?

I cover my gray hair with Surya Brasil, black color, every 3-4 weeks. Within a few days after application the color starts to fade and turns dark brown, then light brown with shades of purple, which is when I know it is time to color my hair again. I don't think the color fades away completely but then I have not tried to leave the color on for more than 4 weeks to find out if it does.
