Gives a lot of information for the price. Easy to read even without the light. I have a family room that has a wood stove for the heat. I want to know the temperature of the room so i don't get it too hot and waste wood which is expensive. So I put the thermometer in that room and determine the temperature of when I should start the stove and how much wood I need to add maintain the temperature I want. Works great for that.

This is a very good Item and it monitors the Humidity level, Temperature and also keeps the Highest and Lowest readings of both of those. I compared it to another one and readings were exactly the same. It was an eye opener to show thw amount of humidity i had in my home! I have now bought a dehumidifier from Amazon! It was very easy to use , size is perfect and the cost is well worth it!

These work well and are easy to read. I have tested in multiple locations and they quickly read the humidity level and seem to be very accurate.

Very pleased with ease of set up and quality of display. The readouts are much better and seem to be more in keeping with the actual air temp and humidity (I don't have third party high tech equipment to truly verify.). I like the fact that it lights up and has easy on-screen buttons for changing things. So definitely a great buy for average home owner who wants a good idea if humidifier is set properly and if there are possible insulation issues in parts of house. Minor Complaints Here Only I couldn't give it five stars because the user interface is too simplistic and the display too busy to have it all on there at one time. You do get used to it but there is little need to have high/low readouts constantly displayed on the side when it would be better to have a secondary screen that focuses on daily averages in the form of a graph or just a time of day with readings at two to four hour intervals. The DRY/WET is fixed to the screen as is more confusing than it needs to be because the screen simply cannot accommodate the extra information with the humidity display being as large as it is. The only indication of too wet or dry is a small arrow that can barely be detected, and the idea of wet/dry would have been better served with a separate screen that was a micro-wiki about optimum humidity in relation to outdoor temps. These are minor gripes that could easily be remedied and only add a little cost per unit. Or it could come with a small business card linking it to a ThermoPro web page with recommendations (and boilerplate statements that this is intended for amusement only:).

This is a nice Thermometer for the money. It looks and feels like good quality. It is hot here in the south. I brought the thermometer inside as soon as it was delivered and opened it up. The temperature read 85 on the thermometer, when it was only 74 in the room. It had been sitting in the back of a hot Amazon delivery truck all day, and I assume all the components were heated up. It took around 15-20 minutes (maybe 30) to register the correct room temperature. Now it works fine, but don't expect it to behave like an instant-read thermometer. If you walk into another room that is hotter or cooler than the one you moved from, it will take a few minutes to calculate the correct temperature. I need one in several places. It comes with a built-in stand, or you can hang it. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it.

THE DISPLAY HAS HUGE NUMBERS! Need I tell you how easy is it to read it from across the room? Because if you never struggled with small digits you won't appreciate it but if you had I need not to spell it. Yes, this puppy is amazing. Inch tall or so digits tells you what you need to know without beating about the bushes. THE TOUCH SCREEN Yes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it! I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please and the light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky.. LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen ! Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screen and no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really love the fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we all see product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh.. NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you to see better and then it auto turns off. EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side. They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wall without hurting the paint or need for tools. I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit of sharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a picture to the wall. You can move it about and no trace. IT does not go off with the paint. Cut one small piece or more and strategically put on the back of this thermometer and stick it to the wall and voila! no tools: I have bought few of those thermometer/hygrometer units so to me it made sense but mind that you can use left over for hanging pictures so it pays off for itself, also any such tape will do, they have them also in your local HDepot and BBBeyond. any brand any kind that is double sided and can keep a weight. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YB1ZXG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I USE IT AS A QUICL LIGHT IN THE WALKNG CLOSET! Who would know.. I wanted one to have there to keep an eye on humidity so this was NOT the purpose but once it is there I noticed I don't need to turn the light on if I just need a quick grab of some item I know where it is but just need a little light. It is just perfect for this! The light comes off in few seconds so no huge use and the three batteries inside seem to lasting. READING IS GOOD AND RELIABLE I am somewhat obsessed with the accuracy of things I buy and so this had to be compared with other devices of other sort to see if it is accurate because what good if it would not be right? So out of few in total that I have ALL of them consistently show accurate temperature and humidity levels . EASY ONE TOUCH switch from C to F and back. TOUCH SCREEN ROCKS! So super easy, the C to F button is on the touch screen in the corner and you can know in the dark where it is if you need it but also you can touch the light and have light up and then you can see even better.. one touch switches to F.. another back to C and so on.. perfect for your European Guests or if you are fluent with both systems. HIGH and LOW is always visible so you can see what was the last high and the last low reading which is helpful if you need to know. Price is reasonable, Quality is superb, Size is perfect, LED Touch screen makes it insanely fabulous, The blue light of the screen makes it dreamy. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS UNIT! Seek no further. Give it a try... I am glad I had. I love that amazon allows for easy return so I did not marry it but I was so happy when it delivered as promised all the things I was hoping for. Really excited about this product and we all love it and enjoy it.

It’s small so it can be taken around easily. I like that it has magnets and a stand, so you can use it however you like. It works well, quality is good, doesn’t feel cheap. Love the backlight that’s allows you to see the temperature in dark rooms or at night. I’m still not certain about the accuracy, I got this because I wasn’t sure about the other thermapro thermometers I had, but it doesn’t feel like it’s accurate. I’ll have to do some more checks. Other than that, it does what it’s supposed to do and looks good too. No alerts yet, still using it for now.

Excellent Hygrometer and Thermometer. It seems to provide a very reliable reading. Batteries come included. The temperature readings can be changed between Deg F or Deg C. I like the magnet at the back that makes it installing easier on a mettalic surface e.g. a fridge door.

Nice large screen with backlight for easy viewing at night. Also shows temp with an extra decimal point so you can tell the temps better.

Be using the TP55 for over a year and is still working great. I compared the temp reading of this model and other models from ThermoPro and they are all very consistent. In my observation it does react a bit slow to changes in temp and humidity when there is a big change. So if temp changes by + or - 5deg celcius or more very suddenly it will take a few minutes for it to "catch up". So if you have an application where you need a temp or humidity to respond very quick then this is not for you. For general home or office temp and humidity monitoring this is a very good product.
