Give Your Memory A Boost
A couple years ago, I purchased BrainBolt. It was an instant hit with me (age 75) and the younger children (5-teen) in our family. I bought BrainBolt Boost attracted by its larger, very colorful buttons, the score tracking LCD readout and the new-fangled mental challenges it offers such as a fun follow-the-light game with different speeds for different ages, a fantastic sound matching game that is unique and fresh, and a reboot of the classic game from the original BrainBolt. They added handles to the unit which makes it easier for younger children and geezers like me to hold. The handles are covered in a layer of soft rubber which makes for a very comfortable feel. BrainBolt Boost blows me away with its friendly look and Can’t-Put-Them-Down games. As an inveterate lifetime gamer, I highly recommend BrainBolt Boost.

Fun and challenging
Challenging from easy to challenging. I bought this for my video gaming grandson. He was really challenged by it. Something he can take with him on car rides

It's really fun
Bought 2 as Christmas gifts & had to check it out for myself. It's really fun. Read the instructions because there are different ways you can play too. It worked great. Arrived on time and I'd definitely recommend.

Bit Lacking in Genius
The Educational Insights BrainBolt Genius Handheld Electronic Memory Game certainly brings a lot of fun with its flashy lights and catchy sound effects. It's perfect for quick brain exercises or challenging friends to a memory showdown. However, despite its name, the game falls a tad short on the "genius" aspect. The difficulty levels seem a bit inconsistent, and after a few rounds, it becomes more about repetition than mental acuity. Still, for a casual brain teaser on the go, it's a decent pick

A LOT OF BRAIN-BOOSTING FUN WE'VE HAD!
If you love addictive games and want to find a new one to lose yourself in, BrainBolt Genius is for you. Like the first version of BrainBolt, of which I am a HUGE fan, BrainBolt Genius is durable, comfortable to hold and easy to navigate. BrainBolt Genius has new levels and challenges played against a wonderfully choreographed sound and light show that enhanced the gaming experience for all of us. BrainBolt Genius, like BrainBolt, can be played on mute, too. My family and I have played Simon, Bop-It and a slew of other stimulus response/memory games (electronic and non-electronic). None come close to the fun and quick-thinking benefits The Bolts deliver. Everyone from the youngest to us grandparents found this game very rewarding. BrainBolt Genius has become a fixture in our game collection. See if you can Beat The Bolt!

I got this because my wife and I like competing in games together which challenge your memory (usually card games). This one is a blast to play, even if you only have a couple minutes to squeeze in a round. I think no matter how good your memory is, you'll have fun because losing doesn't feel frustrating, and you'll want to keep trying again to do better than before; it csn be pretty addicting if you're into this sort of game (think Simon says, or flipping cards to find the matching pair, etc) only this has 4 different game modes which are all fun and a cool way test and improve your memory. Game modes 1 and 2 are multiplayer (I think theyre also the 2 best games) and game mode 2 also has an extra hard mode that takes it to the next level. Anyway, the box says ages 7 to 107, and I think it's pretty accurate- I think adults can have a lot of fun with this like my wife and I, I can also imagine my nephews having a lot of fun competing with eachother or just playing it solo. I'll update this review in 75 or so years to verify the accuracy of the upper age limit!
