Aurora Bass Strings 4 Gauge Blue

These are great strings. They just don't look great,but have very good tone quality. Nice and bright. They won't turn your fingers black like other strings do either. And (because thier coated) they will last 4 to 5 times longer than uncoated strings.So take it from a pro player there worth every penny!

I have no problem with the sound of these strings but I got them because of the color. Problem is, the color started to chip even after the first time I used them. What's the point of having colored strings if the color chips off? To be fair, the audience probably won't be able to tell. Still, it's a problem for me.
