Wonderful book for young children
This book is everything you want a read aloud storybook to be! It has captivating illustrations, lovely rhyming text, and a simple relatable message for young kids: it's nice to share. I just read this book to the 3 and 4 year old children in my grandson's preschool and it was most definitely a hit. There's a whole series of Pig the Pug books by this author and I look forward to purchasing another. Highly recommend to add to your young child's home library!

Pig the Pug books are so adorable! We love his friend Trevor as well. I now purchase these books for friends having children to help with a library collection for them.

Fun book for teaching negative attributes in a non-preachy way
Read this to my child’s 4k class for her special snack day. Didn’t really expect the dramatic consequences to Pig’s bad attitude, but the kids were hootin’ and hollerin’ at his antics. They were hanging on my every word! It was the perfect length for their age group, and I always love books that teach lessons in a fun way.

Pigging Out
My 4 yo son is a huge Pig the Pug fan and have bought him five of the books so far. Decided he had to have the original as well. Teaches great lessons on manners, proper friendships, being active, etc.

BEST CHILDREN’S BOOK!
Don’t think about it..buy the book. It’s the cutest story of Pig the Pug and all his crazy antics. Love that Pig the Pug is available in a board book style for new baby and young toddler gifts. Wish the other Pig the Pug sequels did as well.

The dog falls out the window and almost dies?
This story was not appealing at all. The main character is obnoxious and at the end he falls out the window and nearly dies - winds up in full boy bandage/plaster. How was this approved as a story for little ones?

Super funny story
Super funny story. I bought this for my class as it has great illustrations and a moral to the story. A really lovely book, suitable for a broad age range. Although, you may want to omit the word swine for the younger ones.
